But I walk these streets, a loaded six-string on my back

Here we are, another Sunday. Another group of chores to do this morning. My mind, was firing on all cylinders yesterday, and I actually remembered to pull the bacon out of the freezer. So it’s already defrosted. Fuck yeah!

Yesterday? It was a sloth day for sure. We didn’t do a lot of anything. I figured out that I emptied my vape, so I ran to get another one. I picked up supplies for a cake for my mom for today. Oh yeah, just a heads up in case you didn’t know, it’s Mother’s Day today. I have a card and some snacky snacks for her for her day.

Old family friends that my mom was expecting in a few weeks called and said they were at the gas station just outside of town last night, so I scrambled to jump the Hot Mess Express so there was some room in the drive way. From there, I came home and made a wonderful Poutine dinner for us.

After we or really I watched wrestling. I dunno it’s just fun mindless TV. I think I figured it out; the person that comes out first will usually lose. Crystal mentioned that she never say the fabled Hell in a Cell match with the Undertaker, and Mankind, so I found that, and she got to see a great match, that didn’t have a lot of wrestling.

Time to start the day. Pippin and Podrick are slowly starting to get along. It’s an uneasy truce. But Pippin stands her ground a lot of the time. Happy Sunday!

Hoping it’ll take me just a little farther down the line

Good sunny morning everyone. It’s still sunny, and bright. The wind however, has ramped up a little. Podrick let us sleep in this morning just a little bit. Pippin is happily installed on the back table, and she’s looking out over her queendom.

We didn’t do a whole lot of anything yesterday. I moved the cat tree out for the front door, and it’s turned into something like neutral ground. They can both hang out on it and look out the front door. They’ve both been very good. They chase each other around, and Pippin has gotten a lot of good smells of Podrick’s butt.

During the course of the morning we went to the local green house and picked up a couple of plants for the planter pots out in the back yard. We got some pretty flowering plants, and I found some Habanero plants. So in a month or so, we’ll have spicy peppers to add to our meals.

Since we slept in a little, I’ll be starting the laundry with a wide awake kitten running around. That’s ok, he needs to get used to all the new sounds. This afternoon, we’ll head over to Shady Acres for dinner. I think I’ll be helping my father fix the grandfather clock in the living room.

A saxophone was blowing on a Rock and Roll show

I don’t know how, but Podrick has figure out how to get on the bed. Some time in the night, he was trying to play with me. And once I rolled over, I felt almost a pin prick of heat. I had to look, and he was cinnamon rolled in Pippin’s bed!

I’m pretty sure Pippin slept onto of Crystal’s wigs in the bathroom. So I carried her out, and asked her to hop up on her table. Crystal made her a breakfast plate, and I opened the back door for her. Hopefully, today is the day that she pushed her pride aside, and doesn’t run from him.

Work wasn’t too bad last night. It was really steady when we go there until about 6, and then it slowed down a little. Enough for us to start to get stuff done. Slowly but surely, the minutes ticked away, and before we knew it, it was time to get the hell out of dodge.

Today is a regular Sunday. So there’s chores to be done, and bacon that is needed to be consumed. I’ll start the laundry in a little while. Since I’m up earlier than normal, I’ll take my time. I’ve told my parents, since we have the Tiny Terror, we wouldn’t be going over to Shady Acres for dinner.

But dinner is taken care of. I found some stuff at work yesterday. But I will be heading over there to drop mail off, and to ask to borrow their vacuum.

I need another cup of coffee. Happy Sunday, y’all!

Feel it quietly, tryna silence me, yeah

With a Pippin on my lap, we’ve started a new day. It’s a rainy one out there. But if it’s not snow, I’m not too annoyed by it. The farmers will say we need the rain, so I guess we need the rain.

I don’t need the rain.

But I’ll allow it.

We didn’t get off the couch yesterday. We sat on it all day. We did a marathon of the Hunger Games movies. As luck would have it, as I was looking at my on this day posts, 4 years ago I did a Hunger Games marathon.

It was a good day, with us roasting the movies as they played. They’re not bad movies, but the makeup got worse as the movies went on. Jennifer Lawrence’s face looked like it got rounder, and flatter as the series went on. If there was one more movie, I fear she’d have looked like a full moon.

Today, is the normal Sunday stuff. Laundry, and chores. Then brunch. Mmm bacon. Then, in the afternoon, we’ll head over to Shady Acres for dinner. Just another normal Sunday.

The feast that I’m gonna make, could cause a huge erection

Good morning. Instead of the gentle, hey time to wake up, I got the Tiny One standing on my shoulder, or on the bed, or in the hall, screaming that it’s time to wake up, and open the door for me.

So I roll out of bed, and stumble to the kitchen to turn on the coffee. Bathroom. Tv. Feed the Needy One, and then what she wants, the door open, and the table put there.

She got a table ride to the door. That’s where she is right now. We got a break from the screaming for an hour or so, and then she’ll come into the living room, and scream at us.

Good times.

But it’s Sunday, and that means chores. I’ll start them shortly. Shouldn’t be too bad since I did the chores last Monday when I was off. But the laundry will be started soon, along with the rest of the chores. Rest assured, we’ll have clean clothes for the week.

Also, brunch.

But it’s bright and sunny out there with a high of 34°. That’s not too shabby if you ask me.
