She’s on the highest dose of Prozac a woman can take

The forces of the morning (and Podrick) tire me from my slumber early this morning. I tried ignoring him. I really did. Finally I put him out of the bedroom, and listened to him throwing his shoulder against the door like a Terminator, and I was John Conner.

Eventually, he gave up.

For a while.

I mostly dozed, trying to get back into a deep restorative sleep. But 5 different sleep daddy videos couldn’t put me back to sleep. It felt like I was tossing and turning. The forces of the morning (and Podrick) were conspiring against me.

Fine, I’ll get out of bed.

Coffee on, lights, on, curtains partially opened.

Nintendo Switch controller x3, and the handle for the controller picked up. I had to get on my hands and knees to find the 4th controller. Nintendo Switch picked up, and plugged back in. Controllers back on the charger.

Good morning TinyTown. I do believe we’re ready to greet the day.

It’s chore day here, and I’ll be starting that in a little while. We’re not gonna go over to Shady Acres today. I will be for a hot minute, to clean the pellet stove, bring over the weekly town newsletter (for the last two weeks), and ask if I can borrow my parents vacuum, with the promise of bringing it back on Tuesday.

So busy day here. These are the plans:

  • Clean the fortress of solitude under the bed
  • Laundry
  • The usual chore
  • Clean the pellet stove
  • Vacuum
  • Brunch

I’m sure there’s much more to do, but I’m trying to be mysterious. Why would I tell you all the chores that need to be done?

Always keep them guessing.

I would write about the gorgeous day that we had driving all around and visiting a Walmart for the first time in a few years. And McDonald’s. Glorious McDonald’s. But she’s currently writing it up, so I don’t have a link to the post.

EDIT: here’s the link. You’re welcome.

Happy Sunday, bitches.

I’m ready for a nap that I won’t take.

Drink some holy water from a Dixie cup

Good morning my friends. It’s cold, it’s dark, it’s a day that ends in a y. Yep that’s right! Podrick is being 100% pure Podrick this morning!

Fuck yeah!

All sorts of banging and running around this morning. Mostly due to Podrick chasing Pippin all over the place. It’s been a morning so far, I tell you whhhut.

It was freakin foggy yesterday. I can’t speak for today, because it’s still fucking dark. It’ll be dark probably until around 8 or so. Then we’ll see what’s going on out there. I’m slowly starting to get tired of the constant dark. But slowly it’s getting lighter earlier.

Nothing too much planned for today. Laundry and whatever chores I have the energy for. I need to clean the bathroom sink. It’s starting to look … used. Then I’ll make some brunch. I’ll hand feed pieces of pancake to my beautiful wife, and then she’ll fling maple syrup at me, and we’ll laugh.

I hear her voice in the mornin’ hour, she calls me

Morning everyone. Even sleep daddy, or for some reason cornfield chase, couldn’t even keep me asleep with the external sounds coming from the bedroom door.

Podrick.

It was an amazing sleep until Podrick decided that it should be time to dig, and play with charging cables. So Crystal did the right thing, and banished Podrick from the bedroom. And that usually works for a while until he deems it time for me to wake up.

Thugga-dugga. Thugga-dugga. Thugga-dugga.

I turned up sleep daddy, and then started the video over again. I think I dozed a little at that point. I remember starting the video, and then I remember that it was just the music. I slept a little at that point.

Thugga-dugga. Thugga-dugga. Thugga-dugga.

Time to get up. I leave the warmth of the bed, and roll into the cold harsh darkness that is the bedroom. I can mostly get dressed with my eyes shut. I leave the warmth of the bedroom, do the bathroom stuff, start the coffee, and I get the bowls to feed the kittens.

Kitties fed!

Yesterday was a nice day. I decided I needed something to do. So I did the laundry. I also have a meat board, and other snacks to make for the Royal Rumble. I have my $5 sports select bet that Joe Hendry will win the rumble. I’m confident. I have my I believe in Joe Hendry shirt on. I’m ready.

With our massive tray of meat, crackers, and various cheeses, we sit down and watch. They’re in Saudi Arabia, so it’s an afternoon pay-per-view. It’s nice to have a WWE show while it’s day light out. Most of the time they start at 7pm. So we watch the women’s rumble to start the show off. Of course the women put on a terrific first match. 30 women, one ring. I think their match lasted about an hour and a half. No big surprises other than the other Bella twin showed up.

Two other matches: AJ Styles vs. Gunther. This was a win or retire match. Guess what happened? AJ was put into a sleeper hold, and with a questionable end, Gunther won. That’s three careers that he’s retired now. They’ve actually trademarked “career killer”.

The next match was Drew McIntyre vs. Sami Zayn. Yawn fest. Sami has never won the big belt. Gee, I wonder why. In my opinion, he’s not a main-eventer. Bro looks homeless. Drew retains.

On to the men’s rumble. Good match, again, no real surprises. El Grande Americano comes out, a couple of wrestlers from Triple AAA. The “original” El Grande Americano comes out and dumps the other El Grande Americano over the top ropes.

JOE HENDRY DOESN’T COME OUT.

He’s not in the rumble.

Doesn’t matter. It was a good pay-per-view. The stadium has questionable lights that made the stadium look almost completely empty. So that was a choice.

Today, since I did the laundry yesterday, is one less thing that I have to do this morning. I still have other chores to take care of. I don’t know if we’ll be going over to my parents. My parents probably spent most of the at the hospital in SlightlyBiggerTown. So that’s kind of up in the air. I told them yesterday that if they’re too tired to make a big dinner, I’ll just come over, bring the wood pellets in, and clean the stove. They don’t need to expend the energy to entertain us and feed us. They just need to rest.

We’ll figure it out. Happy Sunday y’all!

‘Cause they’ll never stay home and they’re always alone

Here I am. Woke. Up by Podrick lumbering over me multiple times. I swear I’m gonna have bruises all over my legs and hip. He is a heavy little bastard.

We didn’t do a whole lot of too much yesterday. We headed out to SlightlyBiggerTown town right after I procured some more fuel. The drive there was nice. Not a lot of traffic, but there never is. We went to all the shops that we wanted to, and we grabbed some extra joints to set us up for Crystal’s Birthday that’s coming up in a couple of weeks.

After we returned, we put the groceries away, and ate our Subway sandwiches. We watched on the news about the ICE agent shooting an American citizen in Minnesota. Shits going down, and I don’t think it’s good.

After a bit, I turned on Red Dead Redemption, and played for a couple of hours. I passed the controller to The Beautiful One so she could play Saints Row 3, while I made the cats dinner. Around 6:30 dinner was made and we sat down to watch Saturday Nights Main Event.

Of course Sami won.

American spirit, the smoke and the taillights I guess that I’m in it for more than just one night

The Beautiful One isn’t feeling well this morning. She sacrificed her well-being to let me sleep in. She had to deal with a hyper-active Podrick, so I could rest. Now it’s my turn to take care of her.

I don’t know when she got out of bed. Even when I woke up, I figured it was about an hour or two earlier than it actually is. I feel like I slept have the morning away. It was a nice surprise when I looked at the only physical clock in the apartment.

Yesterday, was a nice relaxing day. I did the laundry, and made brunch for us (I did find some spicy sliced cheese, so Crystal had a bacon, and cheese bagel), and we played video games all afternoon. We made pork chop tacos last night, and they were so very good. After dinner, we watched RAW, then an episode of Yellowstone, and then a couple of episodes of Vikings.

I’ll take care of The Beautiful One this morning, and for the rest of the day. She let me sleep in, so I’ll shield her from Podrick.

Where is Podrick?

He’s quiet.

Too quiet.
