For I’m bound to ride that northern railroad

Hello everyone, happy Tuesday. I was up a couple of times in the night, but managed to fall asleep very quickly once I established what time it was. I think I rolled out of bed to pee during one of the times I woke up, happy that I still had hours to sleep.

It’s gray again out there with freezing rain falling to the ground. It’s like Mother Nature doesn’t want to let go of winter, and is trying very hard to keep the snow on the ground.

Back to work today. After having the entire weekend off, it’s nice to go back in. It gets me out of the house which is good.

But right now I have coffee, and the news. Let’s go Tuesday!

As you walk on by will you call my name?

Good morning everyone, and welcome to Monday. It’s somewhat bright out, and it’s actually supposed to be warmish out there. But I’ll believe that when I’m opening some windows later.

Slept like a rock last night, which is great. I feel mostly refreshed when I wake up in the mornings. It’s neat looking outside and just seeing frost on the ground instead of a tonne of snow on the ground.

I don’t have too much planned for today. I’ll be prepping and making Crystal’s copycat Popeyes chicken for dinner tonight. That should be good. Hopefully I don’t screw it up.

I’m gonna finish some coffee, and figure out what to do for the morning. Have a great day, enjoy your Monday everyone 🙂

I don’t have anything since I don’t have you

Good morning everyone! It’s a somewhat bright and warmish day outside. I have all the curtains open, letting some much needed vitamin d into the flat. According to my weather app, it’s supposed to be snowing right now. SNOW. Wtf?

But currently it’s not. Just sunny with a slight breeze. It’s also supposed to rain/snow this afternoon as well.

Food shopping went without issue yesterday. It was a really nice drive to SlightlyBiggerTown. I grabbed some yummy food for the next weekish or so.

Last night I made fried rice and beef and broccoli for dinner. And it wasn’t just because I was lit, but it was really good. I have enough for a lunch this week some time.

I’ll be heading up to Shady Acres this afternoon to celebrate my grammas 90th birthday tonight. That’ll be fun! I have her card, and her present of chocolates here. I also bought, when I was in BiggerTown a couple of weeks back a family sized corn flakes – because for some reason there’s a shortage here. I know it’s weird. My mom will for some reason wrap that for her as well.

But I really should get started on the chores of the day. But I think I’ll start when I’m finished my coffee. Have a great Sunday y’all.

Here I am stuck in the middle with you.

Greetings and salutations you shiny and happy people. It’s a rare afternoon post from yours truly. I was up at the normal time, but decided to post after heading to SlightlyBiggerTown – you know, in case something interesting happened.

Spoiler alert: nothing interesting happened!

Aside from having to wait for a train to go by. That was about it. I didn’t even see any animals in my travels today.

I did however, but groceries, lunch, and some weed. Then got back into the truck, and drove back to TinyTown.

All in all a good couple of hours. I even remembered to switch the station back to my moms country station.

As I was just about to turn into town, something caught my eye. So much so, that I had to turn around, stop, and take a picture.

Yep. I truly don’t think there are any words for something like this.

Ok, time to kick back, and relax. I don’t have anywhere that I need to be. Happy Saturday dudes and dudettes!

Moving forward using all my breath making love to you was never second best

Good morning happy April fools day! It’s a bright sunny, breezy morning here. Since it’s April 1st, that means that I’ve been in The Flat for one year officially today.

1 year. 365 days. This year has gone so very quickly. I remember moving in. I remember dragging stuff down from Shady Acres before work in a metal cart. I must have looked pretty strange.

By April 1st I had everything in here, and could just wait for the internet guy to come. It took me being pushy to actually get him here in the day he was supposed to be. They tried to tell me that there was no one available. I told them that I had booked this appointment a month earlier, and that they had better find someone that wanted a little overtime, because I couldn’t afford to take another day out of work because they couldn’t plan properly.

Needless to say they had someone out here about 20ish minutes later.

One year wow.

I like this little place. It’s quiet, and peaceful.

Happy one year in The Flat!

And happy Friyay!

I love you. Non sum qualis eram.
