I will swing my axe, don’t let the flames go down

See that? That’s my little patch of grass. I’ve been watering this little patch of grass for a few days. I think it’s rained maybe 3 times since June. We’re in a drought. But thankfully, it rained here last night. In fact, it’s supposed to rain pretty much all day. I got up in the middle of the night, not to pee, but to raise a the blinds in the kitchen an inch or two, as the breeze coming in was causing it to bang against the window, which woke me up.

After I did that, I fell right back asleep. I think it was a good sleep. It’s currently nice and cool in the flat so far. The perfect weather to enjoy some coffee, which is what I’m going to do.

I hope y’all have a great Monday. I’m going to try to have the best Monday I can have! But first, coffee!

Good morning everyone! Happy Sunday. I was up briefly at 6:40, just to see what time it was. When the alarm went off twenty minutes later – my first thought was wow the 20 minutes went fast.

It did.

But I got up anyways. Brushed my teeth, and got dressed. Turned on the coffee pot. Just waiting for it to finish brewing.

There’s a new Tabletop Tactics video which I’ll probably turn on in a few, after I start laundry.

Yep, another chore is upon us. Let’s make today the best chore day ever.

Good morning party people. We’ve made it to Saturday! The coffee is brewing, and I actually have chores today. Technically, I’ve double booked myself today. I told NewGirl if anyone comes in and wants their furniture, to call me and I’ll come by and move the goods for them and her.

And, I’ll be heading up to Shady Acres around 9:30-10ish to do some yard work. Harvest is starting early due to the drought like conditions we’ve experienced all summer, so my dad will probably be harvesting starting today. He asked if I could do all the yard work that he was planning on doing today.

Without hesitation, I said yes. They do so much for me, this is the least that I can do. I should only take a couple of hours – and I really have nothing else planned for today.

But right now, the coffee is ready. I’m out!

Good morning! Hap hap happy Friyay! We made it people! It’s all down hill from here. A quick little jaunt to the office and suddenly it’s 5 pm. And it’s the weekend!

If only time worked that way.

Amirite?

You know the drill. Coffee is brewing and the news is on the TV. The sun is shining, and it doesn’t seem as smokey outside this morning. I can hear birds as well.

I’m going to make myself a cup of coffee, and start my day. Stay frost, my friends.

So, yesterday. Yesterday morning, after moving my plants around outside, I was coming back inside while trying to dodge a wasp or something, the top of my foot connected with the bottom of the screen door. That hurt. My foot was somewhat stiff all day. It’s cool I can deal with that. After work I was helping my parents get a new to them recliner for my dad. We’re moving the old one out of the house and it slipped out of my dads hand, and the corner of the recliner landed right on top of my foot.

Oh god the pain. I limped home. Limped around for the rest of the night. It’s not too bad right now. Just really stiff.

But I digress.
