My wife leaned over and she whispered ‘I love you’ I held her close – we danced

Good Wednesday morning. We’re half way through the week. Hump day. The weekend is slowly sneaking up. Personally, I’ll welcome the surprise that is the weekend.

The only good thing about yesterday, was that the hours pretty much flew by. It was a long day, with me on the phone most of the day. That just drains me. But I got through it.

I was so mentally drained yesterday. I came home pretty much in a daze. I tried to recharge my batteries, and I was pretty much almost back to normal by the time we climbed into bed. I was out like a light, and I remembered I woke up once, just to roll over.

It was a pretty good sleep.

I have Chaucer on my legs, and a miss jealous pants sitting next to me waiting for Chaucer to get up so she can take his place on my lap. I filled the birdfeeder up, and the deer came again in the night. It’s completely empty again.

Once more into the breach, my friends.

They’re hanging out in the donut shop they sing and dance (oh whey oh)

I woke up around 6am, really confused on what day it was going to be. Was it Monday, or Tuesday? I think the weed brownies did their job, hahaha. I figured out it had to be Tuesday. With that knowledge, I fell back asleep.

Yesterday was a really good day. We popped out to wish my gramma a happy 91st birthday. Today is her actual birthday, but since I have to work today, I figured that yesterday would be a good time to go.

After we got back, I made brunch. Crystal had some leftover waffles from a couple of weeks back. I had the usual. Bacon, eggs, and hash browns. I also had a couple slices of toasted bread, and jam. It was really good.

After lunch, I took some boudoir phots of Crystal. It was a lot of fun. I was trying really hard to make sure when I took her photos that she look really good. I think I took around 70ish pictures. I’m sure she’ll be editing them today.

I need more coffee, have a great Tuesday everyone!

No matter how they toss the dice, it had to be the only one for me is you, and you for me

Good morning my friends. It’s the end of the weekend. Just one more day, and we’ll be back to work. It’s gonna be a lazy day here. Just one thing we have to do today. It’s my grammas birthday tomorrow, but we’ll be heading over to the home to wish her a happy 91st birthday.

Other than that, there’s no plans on the table. Brunch will be an actual lunch today. We figured out last night, that Crystal will have a waffle or two, and I’ll have the usual of bacon, eggs, and hash browns. Yummy food for everyone!

On Saturday, Crystal made canna butter. And yesterday when we got home from Shady Acres, she made weed brownies. We had a little piece last night, and neither of us really felt too much of anything, so we’ll have a slightly bigger piece today. It’s a science experiment!

It snowed all day yesterday. Thankfully, it was above freezing, so most of the snow melted as it hit the ground. As it got cooler, the snow started to stick. I’d say less than a half inch. It stuck just enough to cover all the roads. And whatever was melting yesterday, I’m sure it’s all ice under the frosting of the snow. Be careful out there!

Someone pass the coffee, pls!

But when you touch me like this and you hold me like that

yawn. Good morning all you party people. Yep, it’s Sunday. We’re in the belly of the weekend. According to my weather app, it’s supposed to start snowing at any time here. The forecast says we’re supposed to be getting around 14-15cm of snow over the course of the day.

We play by different rules, north of the wall.

Yay. Snow.

Yesterday was a pretty good day, if you ask me. We got up, and had a damn good cup of coffee (or two), and we watch some Dateline. Crystal put her makeup on, then we took off to SlightlyBiggerTown. Crystal picked up some new comfies, and a really cute Easter bunny headband, gloves, and a tail. We grabbed some snacks, and moved on to the groceries.

We stuck to the list, which I pulled out (are we still not doing phrasing?) at the end, to find that we were right on. I paid, and we were on our way. We stopped at the weed store, and looked around. Crystal found an ounce that looked cool, and picked that up.

When we got home, we put the groceries away, and I turned on BotW. I had psyched myself up to do something crazy. After trying to upgrade, and getting a good nights sleep in Goron City, I travelled to Zora’s Domain, and (for me,) did the unthinkable. I started a Divine Beast quest.

To get in was crazy. I blocked as many ice chunks as I could, and destroyed the rest. After what felt like 20 minutes, I finally fought my way inside. That’s when the actual fun started. Puzzle time!

I will admit, that Crystal is the puzzle master, so she helped a lot. I wouldn’t have been able to finish the area without her. (She fought the beast after dinner) So hell she effectively did the zone twice. Once with me – giving me hints and a lot of help, and once on her account.

One down, three more to go. Still just as nervous! Even though I have one under my belt. We’ll see what I do next!

You were working as a waitress in a cocktail bar

Oh hello, you’re still here. Welcome my friends. It. Is. Saturday. We finally made it to the weekend. I slept til the alarm went off. And now that we’re up, and have coffee, the big man, Chaucer, is snuggled up on my lap. He’s a good man.

Looking back on the past posts, I’ve been at the Flat for two years now. It’s a nice little space, with Crystal here. It’s not too small, it’s just cozy. It’s still cozy with two humans, and two kittens. It’s a slice of heaven here. 2 years is pretty good. I like the Flat, and I think the others like it here too.

Not too much planned today. Probably around 10, we’ll head over to SlightlyBiggerTown to get groceries. Maybe lunch. Ooh! I just remembered my plan, I’m going to get some steak fries, and the poutine kit. It’s going to be really good. If the poutine kit is on sale. We’ll see. I’ll be sure to report back.

We had our date night dinner at the diner in town. It was really good. I’m still on my flavour adventure, and had the club sandwich. I enjoyed it. It was very filling. 10/10 would order again. They’re closed next week for Easter, so I don’t know. We might go a day early. We’ll see what next week brings.

But before everything happens, let’s wake up with some Dateline, and coffee. I hope we all have a terrific Saturday.
