Don’t stop me ’cause I’m having a good time, having a good time

Good Monday morning, my friends. It’s a little cooler out there than it has been previous mornings. It’s breezy out there too. According to the app, it’s drizzling out there. Spoiler alert: it’s not drizzling out there. Yet. Maybe it’ll actually rain out there today.

Who knows.

I think I slept like the dead. I don’t remember waking up in the night, or even earlier this morning. The bed was just starting to get a little chilly, when the alarm went off. Might just have to wear actual pants today. Probably not. Our summers are so short here. I’ll probably wear shorts regardless.

Yesterday was a nice day. It was nice and warm, but not OMG it’s so hot out here. It was just a couple of ticks above comfortable weather. Right on the cusp of being hot out. I found it mostly comfortable. Chores went off without a hitch as usual. And today we’ll be heading to SlightlyBiggerTown for some much needed groceries.

I fell asleep last night figuring out if I could pay for gas, lunch, and groceries. I was about to whisper to Crystal, that I could only afford gas and lunch, but I fell asleep. It’ll get figured out. I hate that I can’t afford to take care of everything.

Crystal got a huge HUGE box of thread yesterday courtesy of my grandmother. She went through them all last night. I think she has every colour unter the rainbow, plus sparkly colours too. The pants can continue to be built! The sweat shop lives!

I have Chaucer on my lap this morning. Since it’s a little cooler out, he’s chilly and wants snuggles. Pippin is doing Pippin things. All is well in their worlds. Happy Monday everyone, it’s almost freedom day!

Good morning my friends. We survived the holiday, with bay but a scratch. We had massive thunderstorm warnings, but I’m pretty sure that less than 5 drops of water actually fell. It was nice and clear all night. We even managed to catch some pretty nice fireworks for a few minutes.

Yesterday was a lazy lazy day. We didn’t do a whole lot of anything. It was really nice. We booped around and watched some random things. Then I finally decided on something to watch. We watched the first two Mission: Impossible movies.

They were enjoyed. And honestly, somewhat dated. I mean the first one was released in 1996, and the second one in 2000. The tech is pretty dated now.

We also had the typical holiday dinner. Dinner consisted of some potato chips, and wait for it – hotdogs! It’s been a while since I’ve had hotdogs (in buns), and potato chips. Very yum. We have another 6 buns, and probably more than 6 wieners. But we’ll figure it out!

Not too much on deck here. We have dinner over at Shady Acres, and of course since it’s Sunday, it’s chore day here. The mission is to get it all done before it gets too hot in here. I think we’ll get them done.

But before anything, who wants some coffee? I have enough for two people, so you’re gonna have to bring your own!

Happy 156th birthday Canada!

That’s right, it’s Canada Day! It’s starting out to be a quiet day here in TinyTown. It’s slightly overcast, but should be getting sunny and hot later on today.

I don’t think that TinyTown is doing anything. Maybe someone in town will fire off some fireworks. We’ll see. the last couple years, a guy a street over usually fires of some.

Yesterday at work wasn’t too bad. BossLady took a half day, and rolled in about 1:30ish. At this point, I’ve been somewhat busy, but have completed my list. I do a couple of extra things, just to get out of the building. All in all, not too bad of a day!

I don’t know what we’re going to do today, but we’ll have fun no matter what we’ll do. To make sure that we’ll have fun, I have coffee in front of us, and we’re consuming it.

While I may not know what we’re doing today, but I do know what we’re having for dinner. Yesterday after work, I stopped at the store and picked up some hotdogs, buns, and chips. We’re gonna get our white trash holiday dinner! Woot!

Everyone’s watching, to see what you will do

Fuck yes, people – it’s Friyay! We made it! All that stand me between me and the weekend, is just one shift. Hopefully the day will go quickly. Hopefully, it’ll go quicker than yesterday.

Yesterday, with two employees, there was simply nothing to do. I came in, and dealt with the one email that came in first thing. It was a long day. We did have people come in, but they were just browsing.

But today is a new day. It’s gonna be a great day!

Last night after dinner, we walked to the ice cream place and grabbed some twisters. Just like blizzards. So very yummy.

We really didn’t do anything just kinda hung out.

Awake! I had a really good sleep last night. Just awake enough in the morning to try and find a position that would allow me to sleep, and to breathe. I finally mostly found it and got comfortable. Then the alarm went off.

It’s supposed to be hot this weekend, and I think the heat starts to ramp up starting today. It’s bright and sunny out there. Not a cloud in the sky. However, according to the weather app, it’s supposed to be nice today, there’s chances for thunderstorms for the weekend. That’s changed from yesterday. We’ll see if that changes throughout the day.

Work wasn’t too bad yesterday. Of course busy during the morning, and really slow during the afternoon. BossLady left half way through the day. And isn’t expected in today. So hopefully the day will go quickly. I’ve noticed that the days have gone really slow, but the weeks moves mostly quickly.

But it’s almost the weekend – Canada Day long weekend. Exciting, huh? Let’s get through the balance of the week first. It’s only Thursday, but I think the rest of the week will go somewhat quickly.

So pick up your coffee cups and let’s raise them in the best coffee cup salute we can muster! Happy Thursday!
