House chores, HGTV, and giving up

It’s been a busy morning so far here at The Flat! Laundry has been started, and is currently waiting to be put into the dryer. I spent a few moments while Pippin was sleeping in the living room, to move some furniture around in the bedroom. Now the door can close – which will be good to quarantine a cat for a day or two.

Then, I moved some stuff around on the media center. I was tired of squirting Pippin every night. So I opened it up a little, so the tiny monster can just go back there.

And in solidarity with Crystal, I put on some free HGTV Canada shows. Good times!

I recommend walkin’ around naked in your living room

Good morning motherfuckers! Welcome to Sunday! According to the news, it’s a somber day this morning. The news switched over from their typical feel-good Sunday scheduling, and now it’s the 9/11 commemoration ceremonies. Pres. Biden is making a speech from the Pentagon.

Me? I’m dealing with some allergies, and possibly mixed in with the allergies, maybe just a small head cold as well. Just working up the energy to start chore day. Along with chores, I have to move a couple pieces of furniture in the bedroom around. Pippin has finally figured out how to get behind the door, and like to play there around 11:30/midnight. That’s not conducive to a nice sleep for me. So I’ll do my best to fix it.

It’s a brisk, but sunny morning here. It should be warming up to a high of about 79° today. That definitely beats the high of 65 or so yesterday. But, not a cloud in the sky here so far.

But, of course, before all that can happen – I needs me some more coffee.

‘Cause you make the darkness seem so far

Good morning my friends. Welcome to the day of chores – Sunday. I fell asleep pretty quickly last night, but my sinuses had different ideas. I was pretty stuffed up through the night. So I was pretty tossy turny. Pippin tried to snuggle she kept flip flopping, just as much as I was.

Yesterday, I drove the half hour to SlightlyBiggerTown to do some grocery shopping. I got there and quickly checked out the little antique store, and then I got something to eat. From there I made a quick drug deal, and then it was grocery time. I found just about everything that was on the list, and made the drive back to TinyTown.

After unloading, and putting away the groceries. I settled in to find something pretty awesome to watch. Something light, and funny. Something that I didn’t have to think too hard while I watched.

First up, I watched Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. It’s been a while since I watched it. I laughed, and decided that it has not diminished in time. Classic Ferrell movie. After that, I wanted to keep going, so I found Step Brothers. Again, amazing.

Oh, the fucking Catalina Wine Mixer. It just never disappoints.

Omg. It’s just as good as I remembered it. Classic gangster flick. Every actor, in my opinion, was perfectly cast. I couldn’t picture any other actor playing any of the roles.

Then, I was feeling cocky, and decided to find a movie I hadn’t seen in a long long time. I’ve searched for it in the past, and just couldn’t find it to stream for free. Yesterday evening, I found it. A hit from the year 2000.

Snatch.

Do you know what “nemesis” means? A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent. Personified in this case by an ‘orrible cunt… me. Brick Top, Snatch

But now I need more coffee. Happy Sunday everyone!

I come home, she lifted up her wings – guess that this must be the place

Good morning compadres, welcome to a very gray and overcast Sunday here in TinyTown. It’s very overcast here this fine morning. So much so, that I had to put on a light in the living room this morning.

I slept like the dead last night. I remember getting up a couple of times in the night. But I always fell back to sleep very quickly.

My parents are coming over for brunch this morning, so shortly I’ll be starting the laundry, so. Pretty much all my chores will be finished by the time they get here.

But let’s pump the brakes for a sec here. Let’s have some coffee first before attacking all those chores.

Happy Sunday!

Breathe me in, breathe me out
I don’t know if I could ever go without

Good morning my friends. It’s a bright and sunny day here, with a high of 84. Which means right now, it’s a nice and comfy temp outside. It’ll start getting warmer here pretty quick.

Yesterday, I was in a parade. In fact I was number 6 in line of the parade. It was fun. I was tossing candy, and waving to people. I even saw my mom and gramma out close to their house, I honked the horn, waved, and threw some candy to them. That made my day there.

After the parade, I had a couple of hours of work, which no one came in, because of the town festival that was happening close by. So I played some solitaire, and then I was off.

I walked over to the grounds and paid the entry fee. I was looking for lunch, which I found pretty quickly. A couple of hotdog, and Olten over to another booth for some fresh cut French fries.

I then went over to the petting zoo, where I pet all the animals except for the pot bellied pigs which were just to quick to be able to pet. I did find out that the pigs were for sale.

After that, I listened to some of the live polka, and did another round, just in case I missed something. Then made the walk back to the flat.

I had fun!
