THE POWER CAME BACK!

Yep, I was over at Shady Acres, we had just been told that the town was going to shut the water off so I was filling buckets so we’d be able to flush the toilets.

Thankfully that didn’t happen, because the power came back on around 4:30. The heat came back on, and I went about the house grabbing electronics and plugged them all in.

So when I got back to The Flat, I turned everything back on, and reset the alarm clock, and the stove clock.

So since we “lost” a day because of no power, today will be chore day, with the typical included brunch!

But first, coffee!

Good morning all you glorious motherfuckers! It’s Sunday, and it’s actually sunny, and somewhat warm outside. All the rugs are out there and I even washed the garbage can.

The lone load of laundry has just finished being washed. And I should get all up in there to put it in the dryer.

According to my weather app, Tuesday, it’s supposed to get freakin crazy here. Lots of snow. Snow. It’s April. Besides, all the snow just melted on the lawn.

But I’ll believe that when it’s actually happening.

And all this snow, if it happens will be falling probably days before my aunt and uncle come to visit. Which is also the reason for the “deep” clean. Just trying to make the place look good before people will be coming to visit.

The bacon is defrosting, and in a couple of hours I’ll be cooking brunch for myself. I likes me some bacon. Eggs aren’t too bad either.

I took a little break from Critical Role. Not out of boredom or anything like that. Just want a little different thing to watch. So I fired up Tubi, and finished Road House, then for the fun of it, I watched Blade. I ended up finishing the night with Hackers.

Crystal has been watching Supernatural. She said if I can make it past the first 4 or 5 episodes, it gets better. So that’s what’s on right now. They’re currently fight a demon on an airplane.

I don’t have anything since I don’t have you

Good morning everyone! It’s a somewhat bright and warmish day outside. I have all the curtains open, letting some much needed vitamin d into the flat. According to my weather app, it’s supposed to be snowing right now. SNOW. Wtf?

But currently it’s not. Just sunny with a slight breeze. It’s also supposed to rain/snow this afternoon as well.

Food shopping went without issue yesterday. It was a really nice drive to SlightlyBiggerTown. I grabbed some yummy food for the next weekish or so.

Last night I made fried rice and beef and broccoli for dinner. And it wasn’t just because I was lit, but it was really good. I have enough for a lunch this week some time.

I’ll be heading up to Shady Acres this afternoon to celebrate my grammas 90th birthday tonight. That’ll be fun! I have her card, and her present of chocolates here. I also bought, when I was in BiggerTown a couple of weeks back a family sized corn flakes – because for some reason there’s a shortage here. I know it’s weird. My mom will for some reason wrap that for her as well.

But I really should get started on the chores of the day. But I think I’ll start when I’m finished my coffee. Have a great Sunday y’all.

Um… mixed boneless pickles? You got me!

The road trip was a success yesterday. We went to value village, Home Depot, Michaels, and of course Walmart. I got a couple of items, nothing much, and then we turned the truck back to TinyTown.

I had a huge lunch, and didn’t make dinner until shortly after 7 I believe. I just relaxed on the couch and chatted with Crystal. After our video chat, I bushed my teeth and climbed into bed.

I passed out.

I passed out, and the alarm this morning startled me.

Nothing much planned today. Just the usual chores to do. I’ll be stripping the bed shortly to wash the sheets. Maybe I’ll put on the sheets that my mom got me last year. They aren’t fleece, just regular ones. We’ll see. I haven’t decided yet.

But for right now, just some coffee and news. Happy Sunday everyone.

Excuse me can I have the attention of the class for one second

Can you believe that!? It’s bullshit. BULLSHIT I SAY! Yeah, I’m being mostly silly – they changed all the covers on the Twilight books. Geezy-creezy. I’m still trying to complete the sets I have. But, I was good. I didn’t buy any of them.

The trip to Walmart was good. I spent my commission check on shit that I needed, including a new belt, because I simply destroy them over the course of a year or so. So, $18 a year for a new belt is a pretty good investment.

I didn’t make it back to TinyTown until 7ish. Beat from working, and the three hour (both ways) to Walmart just drained me. But I have a pantry full of some good stuff. And I’m proud of myself, a part from one or two good items, I didn’t get anything crazy – I did stock up on body washes and toothpaste. I didn’t go off the shopping list.

Yay for adulting, I guess!

Just relaxing in the couch with some coffee now. I should get up and start the chores. I’ll start them soon.
