Well, I just got into town about an hour ago took a look around, see which way the wind blow

I think we managed to sleep pretty much most of the night. Well, I did. Crystal said she didn’t wake up as early as she has been. That counts as a win. I’ll take it.

Good morning Sunday! It’s kinda gray out there. But at least the wind isn’t blowing. And it’s not snowing. That’s a good thing if you ask me. I’d be happy if it didn’t snow again this season. That’d be ok with me.

Pippin, last night was a bit of a crazy cat. As I was falling asleep, I could hear her running all over the place. Those were the tunes of me falling asleep – Pippin crazy catting all over, and Chaucer singing the song of his people.

Crystal was falling asleep, so I went outside and asked if we could watch a little TikTok before going to bed. We watched for about 40 minutes or so, then we did our night time routine, and went to bed.

Before that, I got home from work and we hopped in the Hot Mess Express, and headed over to SlightlyBiggerTown for some weed. Before I went to work, I asked Crystal what’s a good or two that you haven’t had for a long time that you really want again.

She asked for sweet potato fries. And so we got some. We also got the fixings for burgers. We love us some burgers here at the Flat. So that’s what we had for dinner. And let me tell you, it was a terrific dinner. I’ve gotten pretty good at frying up some burgers.

We had also spotted some cinnamon buns the size of your head, so we picked some up – with the plan of getting noice and floaty, and having them at about 10 or so. Crystal microwaved hers, and I had mine straight out of the package.

It was good. So good.

Oh, you’re here. Hello, and good morning everyone. It’s a bright and sunny day out there. The cats are being, well, cats this morning. We were woken up this morning to the dulcet sounds of a cat rave. Chaucer got a little sick this morning on the floor in front of the bed. He’s snuggled down on my lap currently.

Crystal was up early this morning. I feel terrible about her just waking up early every day. And there’s nothing that I can do about it. I’m not the sandman. I can’t wave a wand and have her sleep longer in the mornings. I wish I could. She deserves to sleep in. Like I said, I feel so bad about it.

I have to work today. Just a short shift. Then if Crystal is feeling up to it, we’ll pop over to SlightlyBiggerTown for one or two things, then back to the flat. I’ll make her a good dinner tonight. Something that she’s really excited about. Just have to figure out what she wants for dinner.

So let’s get the day started! Happy Saturday!

Nobody likes you when you’re twenty-three

Good morning, it’s Friyay! Welcome to the end of the week! Well, almost the end of the week. I have a short shift tomorrow, then it’s the weekend baby!

Last night when I went outside, I called for Crystal. Looking up in the sky, it just looked like fast moving thing clouds. It wasn’t. It was the northern lights. They were beautiful. Crystal will be able to word it correctly over on her site. It’s been like two decades since I’ve seen them last. I took some pictures and videos for Crystal.

We didn’t do too much after I got back from work. Crystal made a very tasty dinner of shramp taco bowls. So very good. There’s enough for lunch today.

I slept like the dead last night. I crashed. I was up a little early, but only for a couple of seconds before I fell back asleep until the alarm went off.

So now we’re up, and slowly drinking the nectar of life. Hopefully today will go quickly. Happy Friyay!!!

First thing we’d climb a tree and maybe then we’d talk

Good morning my friends. Welcome to a nice and sunny Thursday morning in the great white north. Or, north of the wall, if you insist. There’s hardly any wind, and the sun is very bright.

Coffee has been brewed, and we’re slowly waking up here. Chaucer really wants to get on my lap, but currently I’m denying him. He just keeps staring at me.

Yesterday wasn’t too bad at work. I had to take pictures of various products around the store. I think it took longer to upload them, then to actually take them. But the social media manager has lots of stuff to post about now.

I felt a lot better last night. We watched an episode of Outlander. We’ve decided this season is part of the book that we didn’t like too much. So it’ll be a painfully long season in my mind. We watched a couple of other shows after. All in all it was a pretty nice evening.

Work again today. BossLady won’t be back in until next Tuesday. So we get a bit of a reprieve.

Dancin’ dress that had a split on the side clean up to my hip

It’s the 22nd of March, and it’s snowing out there. I’m really getting tired of the snow. I just want it to be warm out there. I’m tired of dressing in layers. I’m tired of hearing the crunch of the snow under my feet.

Yesterday evening wasn’t the nicest. I got sick. I went to bed earlier than normal. At one point I woke up, and looked at the clock. It was around 4ish. Then when I opened my eyes again it was shortly after 6. I fell back asleep again, and was surprised when my alarm went off.

Now now here we are. Wednesday. The middle of the week. BossLady leaves for another mini vacation for 4 days. Did I mention it’s snowing out there? Little tiny flakes.

Ok I need to wake up. Have a great snowy Wednesday everyone.
