Tumble out of bed and stumble to the kitchen

Holy shitsnacks, it’s Friyay! Finally. I spent all day thinking it was Friday, and now, finally, it is Friyay! It’s been a long week, and all that separates me from freedom is just a little thing called a 9-5.

I’ve poured myself a cup of ambition, and we’ll see how that works out today. I have Chaucer on my lap. He woke me up a couple of times by walking all over me. I guess he thought it was time to get up. Thankfully, I did my best to ignore him, and it paid off. The alarm scared me when it went off.

Yesterday, my subconscious was telling me, I could beat the guardians in the major test of strength. I googled, and I figured that I wouldn’t have a problem defeating them. I thought about it all day as I was at work.

When I got home, I got dinner started. When it was in the oven, I tried a theory. The plan didn’t work, but I defeated the first one with no real problem. I geared up for the second one, and it seemed easier. So I went and upgraded my armour, and tried again. It was a lot easier, still challenging, but definitely do-able.

I ended up clearing all the backlogged battle shrines. When I shut the game off, I felt very accomplished. We watched some CSI, and then we switched it to Antiques Roadshow for a little bit before switching to our nightly TikTok.

Hopefully today goes quickly, and without any major fires to put out. Happy Friyay!

And the days go by, like a strand in the wind

Ahh Thursday, the Batman & Robin of the week. So close, yet so far away. It’s bright and sunny out there. I was awake a little early today. I felt Crystal get out of bed. I think I starfished a little, but then, she came back to bed!

Once she was comfortable, I swear I had a dream where I was trying to come up with a new cocktail. I came up with mixing absinthe with Guinness. I called it a green toucan. Then I woke up. I’ll never know what a green toucan.

This will probably be a short post, because the fog of sleep is still around me. So I’m gonna cut this short. Happy Thursday, let’s hope that it goes quickly!

When there’s one day here, and the next day gone

Sleep came fast, and I loved it. I woke up just a few minutes before the alarm went off. The bed was so nice and toasty. I didn’t want to leave it this morning. But I must.

BossLady should be in today. I was expecting her yesterday, but she was elsewhere, doing a consult or something. So I manned the store by myself yesterday, until our accountant came in to do payroll, and clean the pile of papers off her desk.

After work, I came home and turned on BotW. I needed some shrines, so I did a couple of easy shrine quests and pretty much called it an evening. It was fun, but after work, unless I really know what I want, I just start to wander. I did what I wanted to last night, and without a lot of wandering, I did what I wanted, then shit down the Switch.

But now, coffee and waking up. Let’s get the day started, shall we? Happy Wednesday!

Tuesday, the start of the week for me. Tuesday, totally has Monday vibes. I slept like the dead. I think I woke up just slightly before the alarm went off this morning. Once, I felt a kitten wander across my body. I think it was Chaucer. He just wanted some food. If I had reacted, he’d have started crying and meowing.

I didn’t react.

Coffee has been brewed and the cats have been barred from the living room. Of course Chaucer are his food and weasled his way into the bedroom to throw up. Sneaky little bastard.

We didn’t do a whole lot of anything yesterday. I made waffles again instead of eggs and hash browns. Well, I did make hash browns, but just for me. We used the leftover waffles for chicken and Popeyes chicken for dinner. We are like kings yesterday. And we didn’t even get dressed. Just sloth clothes all day.

I’m up and dressed, and almost ready for work. It’s the short week, so let’s hope that this week moves quickly!

Open up your lovin’ arms watch out, here I come

It’s wicked bright and sunny out there. I have Chaucer on my lap. He demanded to get up on my lap as soon as I sat down. He’s toasty warm.

We didn’t do too much yesterday. I did the chores, and sat down and played a couple of hours of Breath of the Wild. I think I found 2, maybe 3 shrines, fought a couple of Guardians. I think I’m trying to buy time before finally making my way to either to the Devine Beasts which scare the life out of me, or to the castle to fight Ganon.

So I’m trying to do some of the side quests and shrine quests. I’m having fun with the game. It’s one of the best games I’ve ever played. I’m really enjoying the open world, and choice of what to do.

I’m sure I’ll play it today.

I don’t plan on getting dressed today.
