Shake it to the right
If ya know that you feel fine

Well, once again the alarm scared the crap out of me. It was a good sleep this morning. The sun isn’t really too bright, but the sun I believe out. I didn’t look up too much when I was outside. The birds are singing, however.

Good morning everyone. We’re on the “bonus” day. It’s a long weekend here, and possibly where you are too if you’re in North America. There could be a holiday elsewhere too. If there is, tell me about it. I’m interested in learning about it.

It’s a Monday morning here. But pretty much a day that ends in a y, Chaucer has a change of purging his breakfast. It was just a little pile of it this morning. I don’t blame him, his bowl was completely empty. I’m sure in his mind, he was never going to get fed again. And when he was fed, he had to eat fast and a lot, just in case this was the only good he was ever going to get.

I borrowed a vacuum from my mom yesterday. Toaster is a good vacuum, but I think he’s a little overwhelmed with two cats, and two humans. Add to that Crystal crafting, the poor little vacuum just can’t keep up. So I borrowed a Dyson, and later this morning, I’ll probably vacuum once or twice to make sure that everything is all picked up. The cats will hide. Well, Chaucer probably will Pippin has no fear with loud noises.

Pippin is up in the front window. And Chaucer is up on my lap, looking pretty proud of himself. When the alarm went off, I’m pretty sure that for a split second all the kitties were snuggled on the bed. Of course as soon as the radio comes on, Chaucer thinks that food will be provided as soon as I start moving. Pippin just wants a table ride to the back door to look out the window.

Ok, let’s get the day started, and get a refill of coffee. Happy Monday everyone! Happy May Long as well!

Blood in the streets in the town of New Haven

Hellloooo! Hap hap happy Sunday y’all!

It’s kind of grey and a little windy out there today. It’s all good, we’ll wear a sweatshirt or something when we go out this morning. It’s supposed to be mostly overcast today. But it’ll still be a pretty good day.

On the way out of town, I’ll grab some cash in case we find something that we like at the farmers market. It’ll be a good time for sure, even if we don’t find anything.

Since we’re going out this morning, and this afternoon is going to be spent at Shady Acres, when I got home I started chores yesterday. The laundry is done for the week, and the other chores shouldn’t take that long to complete. I should be able to get them done as Crystal is doing her make up.

At one point I got up in the early morning hours to go to the bathroom, and both kittens were snuggled up on the bed with us. Chaucer with Crystal, and pippin near me. It’s nice to have all of us snuggled up.

Now the major decision: shorts or pants.

And that’s the rest of the story!

Yes, I did, yes, I did somebody please tell him who the eff I is

The alarm went off, and the day has started. The kittens have been fed, watered, and new litter. Pippin is on the table watching the little birdies outside the back door. I think Chaucer is up there too enjoying the morning sun. And of course, annoying Pippin up there.

Good morning my friends. Welcome to the weekend. I have a very short shift this morning, and then it’s back to the Flat to do some chores. Ya see, we’re going to a farmers market type thing tomorrow. So I’ll try and get most of the chores done this afternoon.

I totally assume that the farmers market will be busy tomorrow. It’s pretty popular in the summer here. So we’ll probably have to get there shortly after it opens. I’ve only been once, but that’s where I got a nice handmade coffee much and a small planter bowl.

I think it’s gonna be a fun time for sure.

But before all that – coffee. Let’s make the refill happen here! Make arabica great again! Let’s do it!

But when you hold me in your arms, I’ll sing it once again

Urk urk urk urk urk

That’s what I woke up to. Chaucer at the foot of the bed, working on a really deep cut. This morning, it was his way of quietly waking me up. I got up out of bed, and cleaned up a small bit of throw up.

I climbed back into bed, and wrapped myself around Crystal like a spider monkey. I was perfectly warm and comfortable. Maybe just a hair warm, but it was so nice as I snuggled and dozed this morning.

But it’s Friyay, and that means it’s almost the weekend. I’m all that separates me from the weekend is today and a quick shift tomorrow. I think today should go rather quickly, but we’ll see.

Yesterday when I came home at lunch time, I asked Crystal if she would like some pizza. I had been craving pizza for a while, so after work I came home with a “Canadian” pizza – consisting of pepperoni, bacon, and mushrooms. I asked if the mushrooms could just be put on half the pizza.

Mission: accomplished.

After pizza, I played some TofK, getting about shrine, and then just some general exploring. I’m really enjoying this game. It’s freaking huge though. I’m starting to get more and more comfortable running around and slowly getting more comfortable attacking some enemy mobs. They really upped the AI in this game.

But I needs more coffee. Happy Friyay!

She’s one of a kind, she’s just mine, all mine

So I’m told it’s Thursday today. It’s a gray, drizzly, and a hack of a lot cooler out there. Thankfully, I think that the temperature will slowly start to rise again after today. It was cool enough for the heat to kick on this morning just after the alarm went off.

I was up a little earlier again today. At one point I was up around 5ish, but quickly fell back asleep. The next time I looked at the clock, was around 6:45. But again, I fell back asleep until the alarm screeched into life, and the glorious talk radio filled the room.

Work wasn’t too bad yesterday. I was pretty much busy most of the day. I helped BossLady unload out of her car, and I started to bring the outdoor furniture back out to the deck. I was told I’d have help, and at the start I did. Then she wanted all the furniture washed. That’s where the help stopped. I washed the furniture, then all the stuff I asked for help with, and had none. I moved all the furniture by myself.

I was on the phone for the most part yesterday. I think we got stuff done. It never feels like you accomplished anything when all you do is call people. But we got it done, and before I knew it, the end of the day had arrived. I got the hell outa dodge.

I came home and helped to make dinner. We had fried chicken, Brussels sprouts, and I had a side of Kraft Dinner. It was a tasty meal.

I hunkered down and played some TotK. I’m having fun doing some of the side quests, slowly getting comfortable in fighting the monsters again. They really upped the AI in the game. The monsters are a little tougher than BotW.

I need a coffee refill. Happy Thursday!
