Starships were meant to fly hands up and touch the sky

Awake. I was up a little early this morning. Just a little too warm in the bed. I managed to stick it out until 6:45. As I type this, the alarm hasn’t even gone off yet. Crystal was up a little bit before me, and was already on the couch when I got up.

Yesterday was really nice. We didn’t do shit. We just took turns paying TotK. It was nice. Since we didn’t do too much, there’s not too much to write about this morning.

Back to work in a couple of hours. The sun is slowly coming out from behind the clouds. Last night around dinner, the humidity is slowly coming back.

Ok, I know this is a short one. But I’m still waking up. Let’s all have a great day, happy Tuesday everyone!

Tears of the Kingdom… again?!

Yep here we are again, talk talk talkin about Tears of the Kingdom. We’ve still been playing most evenings for at least a couple of hours for me. And I think a couple days a week for a few hours for Crystal. She’s almost mapped out the entire depths, which is freakin awesome.

Me, I haven’t done too much in the depths. It’s dark, and there’s Gloom everywhere. And with the gloom you can only travel certain ways to get to where you want to go. I don’t really like that, but I know eventually, I’m going to have to get over myself and get the heck underground.

Don’t even get me started on the skylands either. There’s so much I need to do still. But lately, I’ve been on a side adventure, and mini quest kick. They’re fun.

I did do one think of note. I managed to figure out the wind shrine over Rito Village. I couldn’t figure out how to start the turbines, but I quickly googled it, and soon as I read how to do it, I closed the tab.

After I had read that, the first part of the shrine was a cake walk. The boss wasn’t even too terribly difficult. I used the wrong type of weapon on them, when after the fact I read to use a totally different fused part. Oh well, all finished. I guess three Devine beasts/SAGES to go.

So yeah, I saved the village, and they’re totes happy, and like in Lurelin Village – I’m revered as a god. I get everything for free when I travel to Hyrule’s vacation resort. Except the Rito‘s are cheap bastards. Not even a discount or anything there. That’s ok. I’m sure they have a few side quests for me.

I also was on a mission from god – to put the band back together. I wouldn’t call the Stable Trotters the next Blues Brothers, as I think they only know one song – the stable theme. It’s cool though, they’re like a shitty garage band. When they come out with the next single, Link can totally go hipster on everyone.

Last night I quickly finished off another side quest, and got the final piece of Yiga armour. It looks pretty awesome, and I don’t have to worry about the random Yiga bastards wandering around all over the place.

I wish it was Sunday (Woah, woah) ‘Cause that’s my fun day

Yep, just another manic Monday here. We just got up, and it looks like it’s gonna be a nice day weather-wise here. The sun is really trying to get out from behind clouds. Good morning my friends. When Crystal turned on the news, I was surprised that they were actually playing the news, and not Dateline. Then I realized that it was Monday.

That means I have to go back to work tomorrow. Yay.

Yesterday was such a nice do-nothing day. I hoping that I can recreate that feeling today. There’s no plans for today. Probably some TotK. There’s should be a post coming out from me about it today. I have to take some glamor shots later this morning but then I’ll have a post to write about.

The coffee is flowing this morning like champagne. Not really. But it has been brewed and cups have been poured.

What will today bring? Nice weather, laziness and brunch! Yep today is brunch day. You’re all invited, just bring your own food! Happy Monday y’all!

So come dance the silence down through the morning

Good Sunday morning my friends. The sun is chirping, and the birds are shining. It looks like it’s gonna be a nice day out there. I do believe it’s going to be a little warmer out there. The temps are starting to rise again. Not a cloud in the sky. Chaucer is on the table looking out the back door, and Pippin is loving life, looking out the front window.

Yesterday at work, it was just busy enough to pass the time a little quicker than normal. But there was a baseball tournament going on, so there wasn’t much foot traffic into the store, but it was still a good day.

After work, I grabbed a couple of items for dinner at the grocery store, and wandered home. I watched Crystal play TotK for a little while, and then it was my turn. I played until it was time to start cooking.

I made a feast for us – French fries, and bacon cheeseburgers. We’ll for Crystal m, it was a mushroom bacon cheeseburger. I surprised her with a can of mushrooms. She cooked those up as I was cooking the bacon.

Long story, short: it was a very good feast, and we walked away from the dinner very full. There were a few more hours of TotK, and then some tv. By the time it was just about 11, and Crystal was falling asleep, so that’s what we did.

As per usual, there’s not too much planned today. It’s Sunday, so there’s chores to do, and then this afternoon we’ll be heading over to Shady Acres for dinner. Mom asked if I could help with the lawn. I just said sure, and to have my dad make sure the lawn mower would start, and I’d have no problem mowing the lawn.

We’ll see if it starts.

But before all that, I need some go-go juice. Time to fill up my cup again! Happy Sunday!

Blood stains the roofs and the palm trees of Venice

Good Saturday morning. We’re both up a little early, I forgot to close the curtains in the bedroom last night, so it was a little brighter in there than normal. I just had to close the front door, as it’s actually just a little chilly in the living room.

It’s a bright and sunny day out there. Finally a nice warm, and not humid day out there. Yesterday was like that too. Almost a perfect day – bright, sunny, and just a slight breeze. Not too shabby if you ask me.

So, all that stands between me and the weekend is just a short shift in a couple of hours. Next week I think could go either way – it’s the local high schools grad. But this week, thinking about it, it might be pretty quiet as the town is hosting a minor league baseball tournament this weekend.

All I can hear outside are birds singing. It sure beats the dead silence of the winter. There’s so many different kinds of birds singing out there.

Coffee has been brewed, and is being consumed as I type this. Chaucer is really trying to get into my lap. Sorry dude, not right now. Good morning my friends, welcome to the start of Saturday!
