Pass the Dutchie ‘pon the left hand side

It’s bright, and sunny, and supposed to be warm outside today. Finally, I’m wearing shorts first thing. I’ll just have to remember to turn the fans on today when I leave for work.

Good morning, happy Wednesday!

I slept like a log, except when I was waking up to go to the bathroom. Each time, Pippin was playing with her laser. Never even heard her! That’s awesome!

Right now, coffee and trying to focus my eyes. Let’s get the day started!

Get out from that kitchen, and rattle those pots and pans

Good morning everyone. I trust all of my 2 or 3 readers had a great sleep. I had a pretty good one. I fell asleep to the sounds of nature. Namely thunder and lightning. It was loud enough to be heard over the fans in the flat.

It’s a gray morning here, and there’s possible thunderstorms this afternoon. But that’s ok, as all the people tell me, we need the moisture. I’m pretty sure I don’t need it, but the farms and people like that probably could use some.

Just drinking some freshly brewed coffee, watching the local news, and listing to the birds outside singing the music of their people. Sounds like the start of a pretty good morning if you ask me.

Also, the new alarm clock went off when it was expected. I just have to adjust the volume. It was a teensy bit loud. But it worked. That’s all that matters.

Happy Tuesday everyone!

TinyTown Home Video: The Batman

I’ve been waiting for this movie since I heard it was being made. I only watched the first trailer, and then proceeded to not look at anything else about the movie. I truly wanted to go in completely in the dark.

I got this Saturday when I was in CaptialCity. I really wanted to watch it as soon as I got back to The Flat. I didn’t, I texted mom to make sure my dad was up and about so we could watch it together for Father’s Day.

Let me tell you both of us really liked it. For me, it took Edward another 10 years to finally turn into a bat. I think he did a great job as the title character.

I think you should go out and get this movie. 7 out of 7 Cullens. It was a great movie!

It’s just another manic Monday

I slept in! You heard that right. I managed to make it to 7:22. Listen, that’s big for me. Even bigger for Pippin. She was curled up next to me.

I woke up and it’s gray out. We’re expecting some rain, maybe even a thunder storm. We’ll see.

Yesterday was overwhelmingly hot. I decided that I’d do the chores today. Present me, is kind of annoyed at past me for pushing all the chores on to future me, but I totally understand. It was too hot to do anything yesterday.

So in an hour or so, I’ll start the laundry and do the rest of my chores.

Just another manic Monday!

But first confefe!

Book haul, but not for me

So yesterday, while I was in CapitalCity, one of the main goals was to find this specific book for my dad for Father’s Day.

Let me preface this by saying that my dad isn’t a reader. I believe he may be on the spectrum, and has a heathy dose of dyslexia. It’s very very hard for him to do any reading. When he was studying for all of his mechanics courses, he would literally memorize the entire book for the course. My mom would read all of them to him.

Anyways, I told him about this book a couple of weeks ago, and immediately was very interested in it, and was asking a lot of questions about it. So like I said getting this book was one of the main reasons to drive 2.5 hours to a city that actually had a book store.

I get to the book store and find the last copy of it. I was so happy, I think I did a little happy dance right there in the store.

I have a YouTube video for him to watch, and then he’ll be able to make his own murder wall!

I have all the faith in the world that he’ll solve this mystery!
