Who will you call up when the plane starts to go down?

We climbed into bed last night, kisses were exchanged. Snuggles started. I turned on my sleepy time video, and got comfortable. Within, probably just a couple of minutes, I was out. Dead to the world.

That hasn’t happened in a long time.

I stayed asleep until Podrick started his shenanigans this morning. He was digging on Crystal’s side of the bed, namely on her nightstand. She removed him from the bedroom, and took him out to the living room. I think I slept another half hour?

Work was pretty slow last night. We were supposed to have two deliveries. They never showed up. Like I said, three of us, no deliveries. I wasn’t feeling too great yesterday, so I talked to the co-workers and said if they didn’t mind, I’d leave around 7:30. I did most of the closing tasks for them, and took off at 7:30.

I came home, and made some dinner for myself, and we hunkered down to watch some TV. We’re just about all the way through the 4th season of Yellowstone, so we watched a couple of episodes. From there we watched some Who’s line, and had our evening snack. Then move on to the top paragraph.

Back to work this afternoon. Everyone’s working for the weekend. Only a couple more shifts, and weekend off. Happy Thursday y’all.

Pick him up at seven and they’re headin’ to the rodeo

Morning.

Podrick was being Podrick this morning. I don’t know what he was doing, but he landed on the me twice this morning. I ignored the first one, but the second one, I couldn’t.

I’m up now.

I had a terrible sleep last night. It took forever to fall asleep. I had to restart Sleep Daddy like 3 or 4 times. I couldn’t get comfortable. I was simply, awake. Then, sometime in the night, my masks slipped off. Both of them. I found them on the floor this morning.

Super.

Work wasn’t too bad last night. It was a quiet night, but we got what we needed done. My co-worker and I are a pretty good team. We work very well together. So we’re pretty efficient when it comes to closing down the store at the end of the night.

So hopefully, it’ll be a good night that moves rather quickly. I wouldn’t be opposed to that in the least.

Well, I’m in my own self-inflicted misery

It’s morning again. It always comes so quickly.

Podrick was pretty good this morning. Only quietly walking across us. Over and over, and over again.

Now, he’s testing our patience, and yelling at us, when we prevent him from getting on the top shelf. He’s not too bad right now. Just sitting and watching us. Crystal says he snuggled her this morning.

Work wasn’t too bad last night. Just on the slow side of not steady at all. But we made it through. My co-worker was nervous about closing now that BossLady is back. I told him to just relax. We know what we’re doing. If we miss something, we’ll be told. This is the same co-worker that forgets to lock the front door.

We leave the store at the Sam time. I paid attention to what he was doing, we leave the store, and boom, he just walks to his car – he forgot to lock the front door. Dude, don’t forget to lock the door, I say as I walk to my truck. He told me he has to turn around on the highway every night he works to make sure he locked the door.

Back to work this afternoon. There’s gonna be three of us tonight. It’s a delivery day. So hopefully, it’ll be busy enough to justify three of the highest paid people working. If it’s dead, I’ll talk to them and maybe leave an hour early. We’ll see. Hopefully, we’ll be busy all night.

But first coffee, while the sun comes up. Happy Tuesday, my bitches!

She moves, she moves between the hours of twilight

Good morning everyone. It’s the start of another work week today. Podrick, clocked in early today. He’s just a go-getter. What can I say? He really loves his work. He concentrated on Crystal’s side of the bed this morning. He has the super power of making just enough noise that I can hear him over my headphones. But his super power today, was a bane on Crystal’s morning: wire hunter.

I think I fell asleep pretty quickly, aside from the fact that I had to get up 14 minutes into the video to go to the bathroom. I reset the video, and climb back into bed, and I think I fell off the sleep cliff pretty quickly.

So yeah, that’s the morning so far. I believe the fog that plagued us all day yesterday has lifted. According to my weather app, the fog hasn’t lifted. So we have that going for it.

Happy Monday everyone. It’s time to circle back around now. You’ve been warned!

Times get harder give me a fire starter, drench myself up in holy water

We’re up again. It’s a new day. Podrick likes to use the bed as a jungle gym, and bound overtop of me, and probably Crystal as well, but I can only talk about me. After 4 or 5 times of him bounding and climbing over me, I mumbled, asking what time it is. When told, I rolled out of bed, and fumbled in the dark to get dressed.

The kitties are up as well. They been fed. Podrick’s gone back to his bowl 4 times already. Pippin enjoys her private dining in the bedroom. I have to remember to wash Pippin’s bed when I do the laundry. Yes, I did the laundry like 4 days ago, but the week between Christmas and New Years, is a crazy animal. I believe that everyone should all just have the week off.

Work wasn’t too bad yesterday. I spoke of it yesterday when I got home. We worked out asses off to get the store your a good standard. Yes, I know if we just would’ve kept it to a high standard when the BossLady went on leave we wouldn’t have to work as hard. Yes. I agree. But I work with millennials, and Gen Alpha. They don’t move unless motivated. Now with a day left before the boss returns, they’re motivated.

Chores today. Not too much. Just laundry and some light cleaning. Podrick is tearing around chasing Pippin around. In a little while, they’ll have piles of clothes to block there clear running.

Laundry will start with the rising of the sun. Until then, coffee and murders.
