Good Saturday morning, you glorious beasts. It’s a bright and sunny day here, north of the wall. It’s supposed to be warm today, but not as warm as it has been the last couple of days. Hopefully, the humidity won’t be as bad today.

It’s a town wide celebration this weekend. There’s gonna be games, and tiny tot rodeo, fireworks, food trucks and basically a big party in The Valley north of the city. And it kicks off today at 10:30 with a parade. I’ll be going into work a little early to decorate the work truck. Yep, I’ll be trying to make the ol work truck look good. Kinda like trying to make a pig look better by trying to get makeup on it.

So yeah, it’ll be a little more relaxed today. I already have a sign up on the front, and back door saying that I’ll be in the parade, and the store will be open after the parade.

I’m also waiting for a delivery. Hence the sign on the back door. They were supposed to have been delivered yesterday. I’m totes sure that they will show up while I’m in the parade, or they’ll be waiting for me when I get into work. If that’s the case, I hope I have enough time to unload, and get the truck decorated.

I’m overthinking this. Live in the now!

So yeah, right now – it’s freakin coffee time! Happy Saturday everyone!!

Good morning, hap hap happy Friyay! It’s almost the weekend. It’s so close I can smell the parade that’s upcoming. It took a few extra minutes to try and get comfortable, and when I did, I crashed. It tossed and turned for a few. It was a little warm last night. But once I found my comfy, I was out.

I got up briefly to use the bathroom. I gave Pippin a quick pet and love, and crawled back into bed. I think I snuggled Crystal, but I’m not too sure. It may have been too warm to snuggle. I don’t think I moved once I got back into bed. I’m a little stiff this morning. When I feel like that, it usually means that I didn’t move too much.

Then the sounds of talk radio entered my mind, and I woke up. It usually goes off at the perfect time to hear a little about the weather. It didn’t disappoint, it’s supposed to be a little grayer today, and I think just a little cooler too.

But for right now, we have the news in, and we have coffee. Happy Friyay everyone!

I’m noddin’ my head like, yeah

Good morning, my friends. It’s a bright and sunny day out there, with just a hint of a breeze. According to the weather app, it’s gonna be another hot one out there. High of 88°. I didn’t open the kitchen curtain, to try and keep it a little cooler in here this morning, I think it’s gonna be nasty hot today.

Yesterday was a slow slow slow day at work, I had a couple of things to do first thing, but other than that, I was the body in case some one came in or called. I have a feeling that it’s gonna be the same today. I may have a delivery either today or tomorrow. So we’ll see if something comes today. Or if it’ll be a perfect storm of two deliveries tomorrow.

Coffee has been brewed and we have the news on. We’re both waking up here. I think I slept all the way through the night, and Crystal dozed all the way until the alarm went off.

So let’s get this morning started. It’s Thursday, and we’re inching closer to the weekend. It’s almost Friday. We can make it. Happy Thursday!

We built this city, we built this city on rock and roll

*yawn* good morning motherfuckers. We’re all awake here. Crystal was up earlier, and I got up at the alarm, but was up briefly in the dark to go to the bathroom, and up briefly at around 6:30, but Crystal came back and I snuggled close and fell back asleep.

Yesterday was a little exciting for this little town. I was at work, talking on the phone, when this huge wind came. It brought rain with it, the rain was actually falling sideways for about 3-5 minutes. Then it was just overcast. At lunch on my way home m, I was stopped by some friends, and was given some cucumbers, and some green beans. I was asked if I saw the tree that fell. I said which tree, and was told you’ll see.

So I continue my short walk home and I see it. The flat 3 down from me had a tree fall over. They were very lucky l, because the tree didn’t do any damage, other than it scraping the gutters and pushing them in. Cut to the rest of the afternoon, where anyone that drove, walked or rode by, had to slow down and take a picture. That tree is a celebrity. It was hilarious.

That was the highlight of the day!

We also went to the second hand store yesterday. I found a couple of books, and Crystal found some funky stuff as well. It was a really nice afternoon.

But back to a full day of work today. And I think it’s gonna be a hot one out there. Time for coffee.

Just call me angel of the morning, angel

Good morning my friends. It’s been a whirlwind here. From what Crystal says we had thunder, lightning, and some rain in the early hours this morning. I got up, on autopilot, and closed the bedroom window. The wind was making the blinds rattle. Then I went to the bathroom, closed the curtain in the kitchen, then climbed back into bed.

I missed everything!

It’s Tuesday morning, and it’s a little gray out there. The wind, and all the fun stuff from this morning is all over. It looks like a typical “after-storm” here. It’s back to work day today. But it’s a short day. Shouldn’t be too hard of a day. I have a couple of things to do this morning.

The coffee tastes really good this morning. The garbage truck is making his rounds, and just picked up our bin, so the next time I go out, I’ll retrieve the bin and bring it back to the Flat.

It’s pretty humid out there, hopefully that drops just a little bit. 70% humidity is a little too much. But it looks like the day has potential to be a nice hot day. But we’ll see what the day has in store for us.
