I learned a small, but valuable lesson early this morning: turn my bed on either later, or reset it before I go to bed.

I woke up briefly at 5:37. You know, just to see what the time was. Then I felt it – a cold bed. The bed had shut off probably a half hour earlier.

I curled up in a small ball in hopes of preserving some warmth. It almost worked. Then I woke up at 6:47. I tied to go back to sleep, but it was a light sleep. I ended up getting up about 5 minutes before the alarm went off.

Happy hump day y’all. Stay warm. It’s -42 with the wind. Ugh.

Oh, the weather outside is frightful

Good morning. We’re still under a blizzard alert here. After a high yesterday of 2🦫, it’s a glorious -36 with the wind. I don’t know if it snowed a lot last night, but some snow has drifted in the high winds last night.

But, it is what it is, and we’ll survive. Especially with some coffee. I think it’s extra warm in my cup.

Least when I go into work today, I know that we won’t be open. Course if the weather was like this tomorrow, I don’t think anyone would come in.

Good morning! Hap hap happy Monday!! It’s dark, still and -12🦫 with the wind. And according to my provincial app, we’re under a blizzard warning here. It’s for this afternoon, and I should be done everything I need to take care of before any snow appears.

Coffee is on the menu for first thing this morning. I slept ok last night. I placed my head on the pillow and I was out until about 2 am, when I had to pee. Then my alarm went off what felt like minutes later.

Here I am! Ready to greet the day.

I finally got a couple of small frames for some of Crystal’s art work. So I hung those last night. I think they look pretty good where they are!

They really tie the room together, I think.

It’s so hard to keep this smile from my face. Losing control and running all over the place.

My first thought when my alarm went off this morning – why am I getting up, when my alarm isn’t even going off. Oh, there it is.

Yep, I thought I was being ripped from my bed alarmless. Why would I get out of bed to start the day without the alarm going off!?

So yeah, I had a bit of a giggle at that before I threw my legs over the side of the bed. I’m happy to hear that the coffee is just about done brewing as I go do my business in the bathroom.

It’s chore day today. I’ll start that in about an hour or so. I want to mop the floor today, so I’ll probably do that after brunch.

But right now, I’m listening to Keith Morrison and his glorious voice on Dateline on NBC News Now. So relaxing. Ha!

Oh lawd, I didn’t want to get out of my nice warm, and snuggly bed this morning. The bed, however, was just a scootch warm, but I was dealing with that.

It’s Saturday and I have a couple of hours of work today, then the balance of the weekend is mine.

I have the American news on, because I want to hear about the Nor’easter hitting the east coast right now. The free ABC news that I get on YouTube, isn’t the “A” team. They had a reporter in Scituate, Rhode Island. It’s wicked windy there. And the snow is falling.

Better then than us hahaha
