Things I’ve never understood they all make sense when I’m with you

Good morning, greetings from SlightlyBiggerTown. I got up at oh dark thirty, to be in for an 8am appointment at the dealership for some warranty work on my moms truck. So I’m here for the next few hours.

It’s easier for me to do this, than for my mom to get her and my grandmother dressed and in the truck at 7:15 in the morning. Then sitting in the dealership for 3-4 hours.

Besides I’m not doing anything anyways. I’d just be sitting in The Flat, watching TV. I can sit at the dealership, and watch TV. Today, they’re streaming Seinfeld. Last time I was here, they were streaming Arrested Development.

Other than this, no plans. Happy Monday!

I think the snow is done for a while. I can’t find any actual measurements, because we’re so small, but I’d guess probably 15ish centimetres over the last 2 days. I dunno, I’m still getting used to the metric system. I do know I don’t like the spread out over so many days. Damn just dump two feet in 24 hours, and call it a day!

It’s a grey day here. Bright but grey. There’s not too much wind, and I think the snow is just falling ever so slowly. Like so slowly that it’s not even piping up to say it’s actually snowing. I got up this morning and shovelled the side walk. I’m not gonna miss that in a couple of months.

Yesterday at work wasn’t too bad. I was given a task the day before, and I worked on that for the few hours I was at work. Before leaving work on Friday, BossLady said she might be in town Saturday morning, because she was going to celebrate some friends birthdays. At the time she said that. The weather app said it was going to start snowing around 7.

Thankfully, it didn’t start snowing until later, and she didn’t show up at work. I just wanted a day to breathe, and thankfully I got that, and could move stuff around, on my own time and let ideas pop in and to try different things.

I did that. I think it turned out pretty good. The last co-worker I had hated whatever I did, so that trained me not to do anything out on the showroom floor. Like I told BossLady, I really tried to make sure everything either matched or complemented everything else. I’m proud of what I did. I think I did pretty good.

Ok I’ve written a novel here, time to refill the coffee, and prep the chores. Happy Sunday, all you great people!

Good morning everyone. It’s Saturday, or as I like to call it SATURYAY. But on days that I work, it’s just a day that ends in y.

Yes, you’re totally right, I did work last weekend. I’m doing this as a favour for my coworker. She’ll be back next week.

Thank god.

It’s been a long loooong two weeks without her.

I just want today to go quickly.

But first, coffee!

Snow. Why does it always have to be snow? According to my app it’s snowed 10.2cm in the last 6 hours, and another expected 42 mm in the next 24 hours.

Good times.

I’ve started the dig out here at The Flat. I’m not impressed, but what can you do? You just deal with it.

It’s all good. Here’s to hoping that today is less stressful than yesterday.

I woke up. Wide awake. 2 minutes before my alarm this morning. I’d say that was pretty good. I don’t think I tossed or turned too much. That’s even better.

Good morning everyone! Welcome to Friyay Thursday! We’re almost there!

Last night after dinner, around 6:30 I get a text from BossLady asking really nice if I can come back to work to help her unload a truck that was supposed to be here 2.5 hours earlier. It was easy, and 15 minutes later I’m walking back to The Flat.

That was my good deed for the day.

But now it’s Thursday and I think I have the office to myself. It’s been a whirlwind week, I’ve been looking forward to some peace and quiet. Haha
