Good morning my friends. It’s a bright and sunny day out there today. I slept like a stone last night. It just took me an extra few minutes to fall asleep. I don’t know why it took me a few more minutes to quiet my brain, but it did.

But now I’m awake and have coffee. Pippin is on my lap. She’ll have a couple of bites of breakfast, then come and curl up on my lap. A few minutes later, she’ll get up for another couple of bites.

I felt kind of accomplished yesterday. I organized the freezer, made some brownies, paid the cable bill, and then – I made fried rice and had potstickers for dinner.

And it turned out good!

I’ll take that win!

Good morning everyone. Baby kitten Pippin woke me a minute before the alarm went off this morning. Thankfully she did, because since I had to reset the alarm clock yesterday, I neglected to actually set the radio station. So I was in the bathroom when a wall of static went off in the bedroom.

But it’s nice and clear and sunny out. That’s nice. There’s nothing on the weather app that says it’ll rain today, so we should have a nice day of sun, and just a little bit of a breeze. For a brief time, I’ve shut off the fans, and will let the Flat warm up a just a little before I start to throw the air around.

I went over to Shady Acres for dinner yesterday as normal. Before I left I cut the majority of the peonies and brought them up for mom and gramma. In return, mom had found some shelves that should help to organize my freezer. It’s a mess in there, and it threatens to all fall out every time I open the door. I work on that later today.

Other than that, I don’t have any plans.

But sometimes that’s not a bad thing. I’ll find something to do today. Happy Monday everyone!!

Everything is bleak, it’s the middle of the night

Holy shit! Good morning. In the night there was a huge windstorm, and I assume thunder and lightning, and all that super wonderful stuff that makes it really nice to sleep in.

I was woken up in the middle of the night, with the wind trying to blow through my bedroom window. I had to close the window to get some quiet in the room. Then I peed and climbed back into bed.

When I got up, I looked at the alarm and said to myself the power must have gone out, but since my clock said 7:03, everything was back to normal. So I get up, do my bathroom stuff and feed the cat.

I never looked at the clock. On the stove, I turn on the coffee pot, and head outside to make sure the plants are ok. With the wind, it incorporated into a dream, and I was sure Mr Banana wouldn’t have any leaves left. All the plants are doing good outside.

This is where I look at the phone, it’s 8:45, and I have a couple of texts from the great Crystal. That last when I go and look at the stove clock – blinking 12:00.

Holy cow! I’m two hours behind my day! I quickly do the cat chores, and gather clothing for the laundry, which is going right now.

Well, hello! Good morning everyone. It’s a partly cloudy Saturday here, but I think it’s supposed to clear up and maybe be sunny, or, thunderstorms. I haven’t checked the weather app yet.

Yesterday work was pretty good. It was nice to be busy all day. Only a little bit of downtime, but it was ok, because it was right at the end of the day.

Today, should be an easy day. I have a couple of things to do when I get in today. But if I buckle down and actually just get it all done. It should take me about an hour or so to get it done.

That’s what I’ll probably do. Bang it out as quickly as possible.

But, coffee first.

Oh I finished the last episode of season 4 of Stranger Things. It was really good. Now it’s just a waiting game for season 5.

Well, I ain’t no movie star but I can get behind anything

Good morning, happy Friyay! It’s bright and sunny out, and should be nice and warm today. I’ll believe it when I’m sweating in my jeans.

One more shift with BossLady, then a quick shift tomorrow, and the weekend will be here for me. I can make it, and so can you!

Kitten chronicles: again, I think she was chilly, or just wanted to snuggle. She woke me up by meowing and wanting under the covers. Once she got under, she couldn’t find her comfy space. I fell back asleep. But she did finally snuggle in.

Coffee has been brewed and I’m consuming it.
