Awake! Well, I’ve been awake on and off since about 6am. I’d open my eyes, and see the time. Then a little later, I’d do the same thing. All the way up to when the alarm went off. That’s fun, right. Well, not really. But it is what it is.

Happy Wednesday. The middle of the week. The one day of the week that’s less popular that Thursday. But Wednesday it is. Hump day.

Coffee has been brewed and the lanai has be shovelled as well. The next time I go out I’ll do the other part of the walkway. I thought it was going to snow more. Each snow fall so far has been a slight disappointment. According to the weather app, we’re supposed to get 100mm of snow today. But I’ll believe it when I’m shovelling it.

The coffee tastes pretty good this morning. Nice and warm. The kittens are stalking around here, hoping for a lap to snuggle in on. Maybe shortly that’ll happen. Pippin was snuggled in between us when I first woke up this morning, but she did hop back up on the bed to play the morning game of catch the foot or the fingers. We play it before bed too. It’s very cute.

Ok, let’s get Wednesday started! Happy hump day!

Though my mind could think, I still was a mad man

Good morning! Happy Tuesday, my friends. It’s o’dark thirty. And lemme tell you it’s dark outside. TinyTown is slowly waking up. The coffee has been brewed and I’m dressed, but I’m not ready to greet the day. Yet.

Yesterday was a good sloth day. Neither of us got dressed, but we did get the Florida package packed up and ready to be shipped out this morning.

Speaking of this morning. Today will be a busy day. I got into work, just to make sure there’s nothing pressing, and then I’ll be loading up the Hot Mess Express, because I’m doing a delivery to the next province over. Then back to TinyTown. Today is the day my grandmother is going into long term care. Mom says she doesn’t need us, but we’ll be ready if they need us.

It’ll still be a busy day. But it’s a day that I’ll be working, but out of the office. And Crystal gets to hang out with me while I work.

Ok, time to mainline some coffee, and get my eyes to focus. Let’s go Tuesday!

Welp, I managed to sleep in today. I was up a couple of times. I think at 3, then at 5, and then again around 6, I think. I finally just shut my eyes, and I slept until around 7:45. It’s been a long time since I slept until 7:45. It’s a strange feeling for sure.

It’s very gray out there this morning. The wind is still windy out there. I don’t know how the weather is supposed to be today. But it doesn’t matter, because I don’t think that we’ll leave the house. We’ll pack up the Floridians Christmas box, and I’ll take it tomorrow morning.

Because, I don’t think we want to leave the house today. Let’s just have a nice day in the house. It’s Critical Role day, so that means it’s also Subnautica day.

I think it’ll be a good day.

Oh it must have been while you were kissing me

Good morning! Hap hap happy Sunday y’all! I woke up 5 minutes after the alarm was supposed to go off. I say supposed, because I shut the alarm off Friday night. We’ve been free sleeping since then. We’re wild and cray cray that way. It hasn’t really helped, because Crystal is still up wicked early, and while I do sleep, I’m up minutes after the alarm is supposed to go off.

We’ll figure it out.

Coffee has been brewed, and Dateline is on the TV. So that means, it’s a Sunday. Chore day. Lazy Sunday, if you will. I’ll be starting the fun chore of laundry in probably about a half hour.

We had a pretty good day yesterday. We went to SlightlyBiggerTown mainly to get a new shower hose. Which we did. And Teflon tape, which we did. I also picked up Christmas presents for BossLady, and NewNewGirl. We also went to the local second hand store – which was 50% off store-wide. Let’s just say we found a pile of Pyrex, at a pretty illegal price. If you head over to Crystal’s site I’m sure that she’ll have pictures of all the pretty bowls.

We also found new coffee mugs for us. They’re cheese and cute – just like us. I love them. And I promise we’ll use them every morning for our coffee. They’re totally us.

Today other than chores, we don’t have that much planned. Just heading over to Shady Acres for dinner. I think we’re making cake balls over there today as well. That should be fun!

It’s so hard to keep this smile from my face

Good morning! I’m posting a little late this morning, because I was showing Crystal some gen x memes, some dnd memes, and a buzzfeed article on what songs can you only think of from certain movies.

And now here we are.

Coffee is being consumed, and we’re slowly waking up here. We have Chaucer in between us, and Pippin is off doing Pippin things.

We don’t have too much going on today. We’ll be heading into another SlightlyBiggerTown to pick up some incidentals, and a new shower hose. There’s more leaks on our current one than the local teamsters union hall. But that’s ok. I can buy one, and send the receipt to the landlord, and they said they’ll take the balance off next months rent. Not too shabby if you ask me.

So yeah. It’ll be a fun day. Let’s get it started!
