Now the Leafs call me up to drive the Zamboni

Hey.

So yeah, both of us didn’t really have a good sleep. I was up early to go to the bathroom and to get something to drink. As I was walking back into the bedroom, I ended up closing the living room curtains, and going back to get another drink of water. Then I was up about a half hour or so before the alarm went off.

You see I slept. I just couldn’t get comfortable, and to be able to breathe at the same time. I finally got comfortable, and then the alarm went off, and here we are now. The coffee is brewing its final 6 cups, and the news is on the TV.

We had a pretty nice day out of the house. We went to SlightlyBiggerTown to check out the second hand store. I found a Stephen King book, and Crystal grabbed a few things that really jumped out at her. After that second hand store, we came back to TinyTown and hit up our little second hand store. I found another book, a mug that I shouldn’t have bought, and two shirts.

Go over to Crystal’s site to read about what she got. Let’s just say there’s an indecent proposal type photograph out there of her major purchase.

Back to full days work today. Yay. I’m gonna have to drink coffee to wake up. But on the bonus side, it’s bright and sunny today with an expected high of 69. However according to the weather app, it’s supposed to cloud over pretty much for the rest of the week. Hopefully that’ll change.

I’m gonna take two weeks, gonna have a vacation

Good morning. I’m wicked groggy this morning. I woke up at some point in the night. I get up and do my business in the bathroom. I could hear kids or someone yelling outside. It sounded like they were looking for a pet or something. After a couple of yells they faded off into the night. I don’t know what time it was. I didn’t look at a clock. I climbed back into bed, and snuggled in. The next time I woke up, the clock said 6:44.

I thought it was Monday.

It is not Monday.

Back to work this morning.

Yesterday was a really nice day. I cooked brunch, as usual. It was a good meal. And for the first time in a while, I got the amount of hash browns right, and I was full until a later than normal dinner. We didn’t do a whole bunch of anything. We did head over to the post office to send out another pair of pants someone bought. Then we popped over to the grocery store and bought some milk and soda.

We just relaxed and played video games all day. Oh, and we took out and washed the tye-dye. It came out really well. My socks look like a virus, but they’re still wearable.

And now, here we are. Tuesday morning. I think I need a refill of coffee. I should go get some.

So I settled for a burger and a grape snow cone

I’m awake.

The sun is slowly rising. It’s a little gray out there. But according to the weather app, it’s supposed to be, after a little rain, which I’ll doubt we’ll have, sunny and 80° out there today. It’s a perfect day for brunch later on this morning.

I went to bed, and pretty much passed out. I got up sometimes in the night, just to quickly slide back into bed. I have no idea what time it was. It was dark out, I can tell you that much. It was a quick in-and-out. I didn’t even feel Crystal get out of bed. Or her getting in after the fact as well. I was out like a light.

On Friday, Crystal sold another pair of pants! So this morning we’ll be heading up to the post office to ship them out. It’s an international package today, which is pretty cool. Crystal’s designs don’t recognize borders. We’ll get them shipped out this afternoon

Also, after Bruch, we’ll be unveiling some new tye-dye designs. That’s right, we did more yesterday. Crystal had a couple more pants to do, and I found a pair of brand new never worn socks, so for some fun, I did those as she worked on her pants.

We have Chaucer sitting in between us this morning. No kittens snuggled with us this morning. That’s ok, sometimes they have other ideas. it’s all good. We have coffee.

So let’s get the day started! Get your IV of coffee and greet the day with a hearty HELLO!

Giving ’em eargasms with my mellow accent

Chaucer is standing on me. He’s really trying to find a comfy spot. And, he’s snuggled in. Good morning, my friends. It’s Sunday morning, and it’s bright and sunny out there in the real world. Inside, it’s not too bad. The bed, at least for me, was just the bees knees. I think I might have gotten up sometime in the night, but I’m not too sure if I did.

I slept through the night, and I’m sure that Crystal has been up for at least an hour. I wish we knew what to do so she’d sleep in. We tried going to bed about 40 minutes later than normal, but again, like last time we tried that, didn’t work. When I woke up, both kittens were on the bed. Chaucer, already moving around, because the humans are awake, that means food is coming in minutes. Pippin, on the other hand, still snuggled in.

When I got home from work, Crystal was live streaming her playing Skyrim. Not a big crowd in there. I joked that it’s because she was playing an older game that most people aren’t interested in anymore. I said I could get more people if I played TotK. Long story short, I think at the most I had 4 or 5 people in there. No one other than Crystal and myself saw me finally stand up to the Gloom Hands, and gloomy Ganon.

No one other than Crystal and myself saw me do a round two with the Gloom Hands, and gloomy Ganon. I saved the great Deku Tree, and saved all the Koroks. After the fact, the Gloom Hands are really easy to defeat. I think it just took 5 or 6 bomb flowers, and poof, they’re gone. Don’t even get me started on gloomy Ganon. She was actually pretty easy, as long as you have either the Master sword, or some weapon with a high damage output.

That in a nutshell, was the day. We had an amazing dinner of chicken chunks, and scalloped potatoes. We also made some slow roasted chicken breasts for shredded chicken. I had a couple of pieces, and lemme tell you, Crystal sure knows how to roast some breasts. They were spiced perfectly. They were shredded, and put in the freezer.

Chore day coming up in an hour or so. Or whenever my caveman brain says it’s time to start. So yeah, typical Sunday morning. Although, I woke up thinking that it was Monday. I was excited for bacon, but alas, earwax, it’s Sunday. But I’m happier that it’s Sunday. If it was Monday, I’d be going to work tomorrow. And no one wants that.

Viva la coffee!

‘Cause we’re living in a material world and I am a material girl

Here I am. I’m right here. I mostly had a good sleep last night. I was up a little early, as I really needed to use the bathroom. I slid out of bed, did my thing, grabbed a couple mouthfuls of water, and tried to slide back into the bed without bothering Crystal. I thought that I had succeeded in my infiltration back into the bed, but as I learned – Crystal was already awake.

I’m not as stealthy as I think I am.

It’s a bright and shiny day here. A little cool, but if the weather stays like this, it should be a nice day here in the prairies. Should be a high of about 68, and if the forecast stays, tomorrow should be a very nice day – sunny and a high of 78. Fingers crossed.

Yesterday was slow. BossLady was travelling yesterday, so I was tracking her luggage, and doing some tasks for her so things were set up when she landed. Well, her luggage was going to be delayed, and the other task of getting a massage appointment fell through, but she managed to get an appointment.

There could be a chance that she could appear at work. I doubt it, but there is a chance. Personally, I hope she doesn’t come in. But we’ll see.

Then it’s the weekend for me. i can’t wait. The week has flown by, but the days have been dragging by. I need more coffee. Happy Saturday y’all.
