Good morning all you motherfuckers out there. That’s right, it’s me, ya boy. It’s the lords day, yo. What’re you gonna do about it? I know what I’m going to do!

Laundry and chores.

Sweet, right?

We’re both up, and the kitties are snuggling on the back table watching to world go by. We’re watching the Olympics on the CBC. I only had to log in again. Hopefully, I won’t have to do that again.

Other than that, we don’t have too much planned. I remembered before tomorrow morning, to turn on the alarm again. I only have one opening shift this week.

We went out to SlightlyBiggerTown yesterday for groceries and other supplies. Once again we got there at the right time, and no lines, no waiting. We quickly stopped at the pharmacy, weed store, and the final stop at Subway for a to go lunch.

I got to sleep in. And I actually slept in. I shut the alarm off last night, and just slept. It feels good man. But I feel bad, Crystal lays in bed and scrolls TikTok. Chaucer is the most agitated, as he simply just wants to eat. Now he’s just stalking around looking disappointed in us.

It’s Saturday. And the weekend is ours to do whatever we want. Well we have to go grocery shopping. But I just remembered that we can get subway today. Good and weed. Two great tastes that taste great together.

Once my eyes focus, I’ll start to get ready for the day. It’s supposed to be rather warm today. Yep, the heat has returned.

The Olympics are on TV. I finally logged into my CBC Gem account on the Roku. We’re currently watching the dancing horses.

Fuck yeah, it’s Friyay! The work day actually went really quickly today. I looked up and it was already 10:30. I looked again, and groceries had arrived. Before I knew it, I was on my way to the post office.

Now I’m at home, and Crystal is finishing off a boss fight, and I’m posting this dribble to my adoring fans – Crystal will probably read this later. Hi babe!

But yeah, it’s the weekend. And it couldn’t have come soon enough. I’m tired. And we truly have nothing planned for the weekend, minus a trip to SlightlyBiggerTown for supplies, and dinner at my parents place on Sunday. And today is date night! Burgers!

Opening ceremonies happened for the Olympics while I was at work. The work wifi isn’t that great, and well, I was at work so I didn’t catch the whole thing. But I did manage to catch Canada float by.

Almost forgot to post. Here I am, scrolling memes on my phone whilst Crystal plays her game.

It’s hot here again today. Lots of cloud cover, and smoke. So it’s just like an oven out there. The breeze feels nice though when it hits you.

I don’t have a lot today, as nothing really happened so I’ll leave you with a meme.

With the Flat only being about 500sf, one would think that I wouldn’t lose anything in here, right? Well at 4:30 this morning, it was kind of chilly. So I looked for my hoodie. The hoodie that I definitely knew that I brought in yesterday after work. I just couldn’t find it for the life of me. So much so in fact, I walked out to the car to see if I misremembered it. It wasn’t in there. So I went back to searching. I finally found it on the bed, I put it there when I lifted up the cat nest off the floor.

With that, I was able to continue my morning. Coffee was consumed, and the early morning headlines were on the TV. I ate cereal, and headed to work.

Work was work. Wicked slow, so we cleaned. I’m tired of cleaning. It’s not even August, and we’re 80% the way through the cleaning list.

But I’m home from work now, and the heat has been turned on out there. The early morning fog has been burnt off, and the clouds are gone. It’s gonna be hot today and tomorrow. Last night was really nice, we could actually sleep under a blanket. Not tonight, I don’t think.
