Girl, I don’t need no lifted truck revving loud to pick you up

It’s bright and sunny outside.

A certain orange cat ate part of his favourite toy sometime in the night. It’s missing a bell.

We’re all up? And Crystal has fed the kitties. Pippin didn’t want to eat, so it’s sitting in the cupboard, and we’ll see if she wants to eat before I start to cook brunch.

I had a really good sleep this morning, which means that Crystal stole out of bed without waking me up, kicked Podrick out, and brought Pippin in to snuggle sometime this morning. the bed was the perfect temperature to snuggle. And snuggle I did.

Yesterday was a nice day, although a little chilly out. We got up and dressed and made our way over to the next town over for some grocery shopping, and to hit a couple of other stores. We got into town, and hit up the grocery store first. I actually planned ahead this time- I was wearing a hoodie, because it seems like the new grocery store is always so very cold in it.

We finished up the groceries, I packed them in the truck, and we walked to the dollar store. I don’t think we got anything there. Then it was over to the general store, and then to the pharmacy. After the pharmacy, we hit up the pharmacy for a couple of carts. Then on our final stop, I bought Subway for lunch, and then we were back in the highway pointed in the general direction of our tiny little town.

After quickly running out to grab a frozen pizza for dinner, because we forgot to plan ahead (in our defence we looled at the sushi, and it just wasn’t great last week, so we walked past it. And completely forgot to pick something up. After dinner, I put on a movie: K-Pop Demon Hunters. It was pretty good. The songs were catchy, and it had a pretty good story. I considered myself entertained.

Can I get some fries with that shake-shake boobie?

I think that Podrick was a little bad this morning, and was shut out of the community early this morning. However, I do remember Pippin perched on my hip at one point. She’s so light, but her feet can really dig in. By the time you read this, they’ve been fed, and Podrick is doing Podrick things, which means, he’s just getting into trouble.

Work wasn’t too bad yesterday. It wasn’t busy at all, in fact, I’d say it was painfully slow. Except for the fact that we both looked at the clock and said “holy shit, it’s 5:45!”. Yep, time moved quickly, even though we didn’t have the mass of customers that we usually have. I was impressed, and the rest of the evening went just as quickly, and before we knew it, we were on our way home at the end of the night.

Not too much planned for the day of Sats. We’ll be heading out to SlightlyBiggerTown town a little later on. We have a list. An incomplete list, and we’ll be adding to it as we go. So far we have about 6 stops to head to this morning, so it’ll be an action packed morning for us. And it usually is! It’s turning out to look pretty nice outside.

And, I’ve already taken an allergy pill.

Pump it up a little more get the party goin’ on the dance floor

It was just bright and sunny out, I swear! Now, looking out the window, it’s gray, and slightly breezy. But I think for the next little bit, it’ll be nice and sunny for the next little bit. Finally, we’re getting our summer.

I did the laundry yesterday. You see the day before, when I was working the trucks, I dropped a can of soda, and it sprayed over me. So yeah, I had to do laundry. But at least I can just do the small chores Sunday, before heading over to Shady Acres to weed-whack under the apple tree – so we can pick apples, yay.

Back to work today for a shift, before having the weekend off. Other than what chores my parents have for me on Sunday, we’ll be heading out to SlightlyBiggerTown for some supplies. Hopefully, Saturday will be a nice day.

Managed to watch NXT from Tuesday, and it was very sports entertaining. The above image is from the USA/Canada Peace Talks. Needless to say, the Americans craved violence on Tuesday. It was a very entertaining show, and I noticed that they’re having a PLE on Sunday. Might just have to watch that.

Let’s see if my featured image actually shows up on the post. The WordPress/Jetpack app has seriously dropped in quality over the last couple of years. Half the time I get connection errors every day. Then it’ll say it’s uploaded a picture, but show a broken image in its place. I know I could use the web interface, but I find that so clunky.

It’ll sort itself out.

I’m sore today. Not in pain sore, just stiff. It was a busy afternoon at work. Two trucks to put away. I think me and Bing Bing did pretty good. I’d say I got both truck about 97% complete. Not too shabby for an old grumpy guy, and a kid that can’t concentrate on anything for longer than a couple of minutes.

Day off here, and I’m gonna be doing some laundry this morning, as I was loading up the energy drinks, I dropped a can, and it bounced and decided to spray its essence on my stomach and thigh. That was really the only mishap that I encountered whilst moving a lot of soda in a small space.

I really need more coffee. It’s a day, and a gray day at that. Oh, we were under a tornado warning for most of the night. No tornados though.

Good humid morning you fucking rock stars. It’s gray and foggy out there, and that means a wicked hot day is coming. Crystal says a high of 91°. It’s gonna be a scorcher for sure. Yesterday was wicked warm, and I think it only hit like 80.

Yesterday at work wasn’t too bad. We only had one truck, so that means we’ll probably get one or two tonight. And I have Bing Bing working with me tonight. The last time we worked together he spent 5-6 hours of eating candy, and then proceeded to act like a serial killer and stand behind me as I was trying to work.

So, needless to say, work tonight will be interesting. I’ll have to bring my A-game tonight.

I’m ready.

But I’ll need more coffee.

So let’s get ready to greet the day! Good morning world! Are you ready for me? I sure hope so!
