Good Sunday morning to y’all. It’s a grainy day out there. Get it? Gray, and rainy – grainy. I thought that masterpiece up before coffee this morning. Pippin just wanted to play this morning. I tried to hide under the blanket, but she wasn’t having it.

It’s chilly out there this morning. It looks like it really wants to rain, but I don’t think that it will. Just gray everywhere you see. If I had plans for the long weekend, I’d be annoyed at the weather. But I don’t, so I’m not.

I’ll do a load of laundry. I did all the clothes on Friday , after the incident, so I figured that I’d wash the sheets. It’s such a chore to take off both weighted blankets, but the plus side of it, I’ll have nice squeaky clean sheets.

But before all of that, I need to imbibe copious amounts of coffee. Because, after all, it’s the lords day.

Awake! The birds are singing, and it’s bright and sunny outside. It feels like it’s gonna be a hot one out there today. Hot, hot, hot.

I was up just a little bit early. Pippin wanted snuggles, and was pretty vocal about it. Once I rolled over, she snuggled right in, and we both fell back asleep.

Not too much planned for the day. I have to go into SlightlyBiggerTown for some groceries. Nothing too major. Hopefully, this week I’ll be able to find some wings.

Other than that, I don’t have anything else planned for the day. But, I’ve planned too much so far. I should only be thinking about the coffee before me.

Let’s get this day started!

After eating food your body is gonna start to speak

Picture this: absolutely dead day at work. We’ve both finished our work, and it’s about 9:15. For some reason BossLady isn’t calling. In fact, she didn’t call all day.

Score, right?

Yes and no.

I’m feeling good. Slight headache, but nothing I can’t ignore. I’m a trooper.

I go to the bathroom to pee. Poop dribbles out. Ok fine, it’s happened before. I finish up and go back to the office. Still feeling fine.

About an hour later, same thing. Ok, I think maybe it was the coffee NewNewGirl brought for me.

After that, I’m fine. Number one all morning, and the afternoon.

Still dead. It’s about 4:30 and we’re just pacing waiting to leave. Of course customers come to look around. I take care of them, and we leave. It’s Friyay, so I head to the restaurant, and order my usual.

I walk the 2 minutes back to the flat, greet Pippin. Notice that she knocked over the stand with my bamboo on it. I clean it up as best as possible, walk back to work, and grab the stick vac.

I clean up the mess, walk into the bedroom and get ready to change into comfies. I cough and…

Well…

Let’s just say I just got out of the shower, and I’m doing laundry.

Gee Shawshank, what’re you doing on a Friday night, on a long weekend?

Knocking me out with those American thighs

Good sunny morning y’all, it’s Friyay! Like I said, it’s bright and sunny outside. According to the local news, we’re going to be flirting with the 30s this weekend. That’s a good thing. It’s been cooler this week, so it’ll be nice to get back to some heat.

TGIF for sure. It’s been a longish week, but I think a pretty good week, but I am happy that it’s just about over.

I have to go grocery shopping tomorrow, I should probably make a list tonight. Just the usual stuff again this weekend.

I need coffee in my system. I had a better sleep that yesterday, which is really good. I’m not as groggy this morning, as I was yesterday at this time.

Making love out by the lake to our favorite song

Good morning mothafuckas , it’s Thursday, and a crop duster has been flying for about an hour or so. It sounds like this flying right above the flat, but I know it isn’t. Between that and Pippin trying to snuggle this morning, I’ve been partially awake for a while, but managed to fall back into a light sleep until the alarm went off.

I got up in the night and realized by seeing, I forgot to shut off the laser. I’m sure Pippin was annoyed that her toy got shut off. But I think she got over it pretty quick, and she settled on the top shelf of the toilet organizer for a while before coming to bed.

It’s bright and sunny outside. It looks like it’s gonna be a nice and warm today. That’s great. You know what’s better?

Coffee.
