Good morning. It’s dark, and cold out there, and zeppelin was outside hoping to come in first thing. I didn’t let him. But I did give him some pets.

Yesterday was pretty slow at work. But I did get some stuff taken care of, and I have a couple of items to take care of. So for my 4 hour shift, I’ll have a couple of things to do.

After work yesterday we piled into the Hot Mess Express, and followed some friends out to BossLadies cabin. It was bigger than I thought it was. And coming from the complete mess that the showroom is, she actually has taste, and design sense. She has it decorated very nicely.

BossLady also is surprisingly a very good cook. I enjoyed her food. The company was as good as the food she served. Before we left, we all exchanged gifts. I got some prepaid Visa cards for some new clothes, a really nice sign to hang up, and Crystal got a nice candle and some beautiful custom earrings.

But after all that fun, I have work today. That means coffee. Let’s get some and start the day 🙂

I love you, now you cannot pretend

Good morning, it’s Friyay! I’ve been up on and off since about 5am. One of the kittens decided that time would be a good time to run all over the house like a crazy person.

They sounded like they were having fun. I drifted back to sleep for a while, then up just long enough to look at the clock, and go back to sleep. I snuggled, and was snuggled.

Alarm goes off, I do my usual routine. Get up, dressed, and bathroom stuff. Go out and turn the coffee on, and feed the kittens. I throw on my slippers and head outside. It’s snowed, and then the winds happened and it’s drifted all over the place. It almost looks worse than yesterday. We’ll see if BossLady comes in today.

But we’re awake and ready to greet the day. The office Christmas party is tonight. It was supposed to be yesterday, but more snow fell then, than today. I can’t forget the Christmas presents for BossLady, and NewNewGirl. I had to hid them, because Chaucer likes to lick and eat the plastic bows.

Ok I need to refill my coffee, and eventually get outside and do some shovelling. Happy Friyay everyone!

She’ll forever hold a spot inside my soul

Good morning my friends. Yesterday around 1:30 it’s started. The snow. The snow fell until about midnight or so. In total, about 11.4 cm of snow fell, with another 18mm is expected today. I shoveled the lanai, and the concrete pad. Next time I go out, I’ll do the rest of the sidewalk down to the road. I can hear the town machines starting to clean up the roads.

Today is supposed be our Christmas party at BossLadies house. We’ll probably still go. But I’m not a 100% on that. We’ll see I guess. I’m sure they’ll be late getting into work. It’s all good. As you can tell, I’m not too excited about the dinner. It’s outside of our regular habits. It’s not routine.

What is routine is a good cup of coffee. A damn fine cup of coffee. It’s warm and tasty. And the news is on.

Let’s get going!

Awake! Well, I’ve been awake on and off since about 6am. I’d open my eyes, and see the time. Then a little later, I’d do the same thing. All the way up to when the alarm went off. That’s fun, right. Well, not really. But it is what it is.

Happy Wednesday. The middle of the week. The one day of the week that’s less popular that Thursday. But Wednesday it is. Hump day.

Coffee has been brewed and the lanai has be shovelled as well. The next time I go out I’ll do the other part of the walkway. I thought it was going to snow more. Each snow fall so far has been a slight disappointment. According to the weather app, we’re supposed to get 100mm of snow today. But I’ll believe it when I’m shovelling it.

The coffee tastes pretty good this morning. Nice and warm. The kittens are stalking around here, hoping for a lap to snuggle in on. Maybe shortly that’ll happen. Pippin was snuggled in between us when I first woke up this morning, but she did hop back up on the bed to play the morning game of catch the foot or the fingers. We play it before bed too. It’s very cute.

Ok, let’s get Wednesday started! Happy hump day!

Though my mind could think, I still was a mad man

Good morning! Happy Tuesday, my friends. It’s o’dark thirty. And lemme tell you it’s dark outside. TinyTown is slowly waking up. The coffee has been brewed and I’m dressed, but I’m not ready to greet the day. Yet.

Yesterday was a good sloth day. Neither of us got dressed, but we did get the Florida package packed up and ready to be shipped out this morning.

Speaking of this morning. Today will be a busy day. I got into work, just to make sure there’s nothing pressing, and then I’ll be loading up the Hot Mess Express, because I’m doing a delivery to the next province over. Then back to TinyTown. Today is the day my grandmother is going into long term care. Mom says she doesn’t need us, but we’ll be ready if they need us.

It’ll still be a busy day. But it’s a day that I’ll be working, but out of the office. And Crystal gets to hang out with me while I work.

Ok, time to mainline some coffee, and get my eyes to focus. Let’s go Tuesday!
