Welcome to Rex Manning Day 2024!

4:30 am sure came early this morning, but I got up and started the day. With the day started, and coffee consumed, I went off to work.

Work was a little busier than normal. Probably because we were closed yesterday. But we managed to get a lot done, cleaning wise.

Course I’m tired from the weekend, so I don’t have a lot to report on today. So I’ll just leave it at this.

Hey hey everyone. Late post here as we had to driver to SlightlyBiggerTown to grab some flowers for my grammas birthday on Thursday. We dropped them off today, as I didn’t want them to die before her birthday. She loves them and almost started to cry when she saw them.

Work wasn’t too bad today. I opened all by myself, because BossLady started a couple of hours later. I opened without any problems. That’s always nice on a Monday.

While we were in SlightlyBiggerTown, I grabbed a pizza for dinner tonight. We haven’t had a good pizza in a while. The local bar here has a pizza night, and I was told it was pretty good. False. It’s not all that great. Like Crystal said “needs more grease, and slightly less cheese.” I agree with her.

Alrighty, it’s time for me to sign off. My attention span is starting to…

Light a candle, curse the glare

It’s my Friyay today, and it’s a good Friyay! I’m home from work, and I’m (right now) not sleepy. It was a pretty good day. A lot busier than yesterday that’s for sure.

And, it’s mothafuckin date night!

With date night, comes bathtub night for Crystal. I’m sure she’s excited about that.

Our usual restaurant is closed, so we’ll be heading over to the other restaurant a block over. I don’t know what I’ll have tonight, but I’m sure it will be good with a side of salad bar, so I have that going for me.

Other than that, there’s not a lot to update y’all on. Since I have a long weekend, there’s a helluva good chance that I’ll probably do my chores tomorrow, then I can relax for the next couple of days.

Hey hey. This will probably short and sweet as I’m freakin tired. I was up about 15 minutes before my alarm, and I couldn’t get back to sleep. As a result, I’ve been dragging ass all day.

But I checked off the grocery order all by myself today. I’m a real boy! It was a slightly larger order, because head office is closed on good Friyay. So we had to make sure that we had enough for the people to last us until next Wednesday.

Tomorrow will be the same, but without the grocery order. Then I actually have Friyay off. Yay! I can sleep in!

But everything looks better when the sun goes down

Another day, another dollar. Before taxes. I’m tired. How hard would it be to just have one restful night a week? A month? I’m not greedy. I slept well I guess last night. The alarm didn’t scare me. But I just don’t feel rested, or myself.

I’ll live.

Work wasn’t too bad today. It was busier than Monday. Which is freakin great. It made the time go by quicker than normal. I’m just happy I was able to leave.

We have some turkeys at work, so I bought the cheaper, unstuffed one and snuck it into my parents freezer. It’ll be a surprise for mom.

I fell asleep on the couch yesterday afternoon. I’m going to try and not fall asleep today. But no promises.
