From The Hudson River out to the Nile

Good morning all you party people. It’s Monday, are you ready for another week of fun? I literally just woke up 14 minutes ago, and until the coffee brews, I am not ready for anything.

So if you saw my last post, it for at least a half hour or so, The Flat was the center of a flurry of activity. The art got hung yesterday. And it was Sunday, so that means that I went over for Sunday dinner at Shady Acres.

I found another app for tv shows. I now have access to every season of MTVs Jersey Shore. The ultimate in mindless watching.

But the coffee is ready. Giver of life, do your job.

The featured image may or may not be the one that I used yesterday. Oops. Here I am. I was up early, but I forced myself to go back to sleep, until my alarm went off.

Yes, on my day off my alarm was still set.

I don’t know how to shut it off.

Analog clock Radios, amirite?

The coffee is brewing, and I have chores to do today. Laundry, put away some dishes, dusting, and I should clean the bathroom today as well. That should take a total of about 15-30 minutes. But I’ll get it done. My dad may or may not be coming over to help hang some art. We’ll see about that. I haven’t received any confirmation about that.

Other than chores, it’ll be a nice day off. Gonna watch some movies, then head over to Shady Acres for dinner later on in the afternoon.

Ok, coffee time. Let’s do this!

Hit top speed but I’m still movin’ much too slow

Good morning. It’s a bright and sunny, but looks chilly out this morning. The coffee is brewing and I’m slowly waking up. I gotta work this morning, so I’m up and dressed.

Least it’s only a short day. I may have a customer coming in to check out a sectional, so I was doing research on it last night before leaving for the night.

My mom and gramma had to go into BiggerTown yesterday, so I asked when she went into Walmart to pick me up a jar of garlic. I got a 1 kilogram jar of garlic, and two bags of groceries. I can move out of my parents house, but my mom will still mom me.

So I don’t know what I’ll be cooking for dinner. I have some more choices. I’ll figure it out. I like food adventures!

And I saw my reflection in the snow-covered hills

Happy Friyay. We made it. I had an ok sleep. Tossy turny, and up early, but I forced myself to go back to sleep for another hour. Then my alarms went off.

And here I am. The coffee is brewing, and it’s below freezing outside right now. I had to turn the heat on this morning, as I had turned it down, because while windy, it’s been mostly warm out. Not this morning though. I might have to actually wear a jacket to work this morning.

Yesterday was not the best day at work. There was a screw up, and a designer noticed that a couch she’d ordered was wrong. Switch to freak out mode and a pretty shitty afternoon on my part. Hopefully today we’ll figure it out. I feel terrible about it. I hope we can figure it out.

Coffee is brewing, so let’s get today started. Let’s try and make this a good day. I’d like a good day today.

Thunder only happens when it’s raining

Happy Thursday everyone. Again, I slept until my alarm went off. I was slightly awake early, but I powered through it and went back to sleep without even looking to see what time it was.

Today at 8am, I’m going to try to register to get my COVID shot. We’ll see if I can. Today the province opens registration to people 44+. Well, I’m only 43, but my birthday is soon. We’ll see if the system will let me register.

Yesterday was a pretty ok day. Work went well, I had a phone meeting with a client, which turned out pretty good and gave me an afternoon of work.

Today will almost be like a vacation day. BossLady is in CapitolCity, so we’ll only have to talk to her on the phone today.
