Say what you will I done made the devil a deal

Good morning, party people. I don’t know if I was sleeping deeper, or if Podrick has found some humility, and didn’t become an asshole until a little later just before 7. It’s what I appreciates about him, sometimes just letting me sleep a little. the sun is starting to rise earlier and earlier, and set later at night. Spring is slowly clawing its way back out into the open. But, winter is coming. The north remembers.

Last night was me introducing the 16 year old I was working with to some 90s hip hop. After about an hour and a half, it branched out to 2000 hip hop as well. We were bumping to Wu Tang Clan, Naughty by Nature, and even a little bit of Snow, and Heartbreaker by Mariah Carey. It was a pretty good night music wise, and customer wise. It was steady, but not in the way that it was overwhelming.

Every time we looked at the clock, time had actually passed pretty quickly, which was tip top to us. Like I said I was working with a teenager, with a new drivers licence, and a new girlfriend, so of course it’s my job to get us out of work as quickly as possible. No one wants to stay longer than you have to on a Friday night.

Which brings us to today. I have chores to do in a little while, and of course brunch. We have to go grocery shopping, but we’ll do that on my next day off – Wednesday. Today, like I said, chores. Then after brunch, I’ll head over to Shady Acres, and clean the pellet stove, and fill some buckets. That shouldn’t take too long, the I’ll be back at The Flat.

So let’s get this day started, with a coffee refill, and a happy pill. Then once we’re feeling human, that’s when the day can start. The lords day. Happy Sunday y’all!

I got a feelin’ it’s gonna leave a lipstick stain

Welp, we’re awake. Podrick did his best to get us up. After resisting for a while, I just decided to get up. It was close enough to 7 am, that I figured, why the hell not? So here we are. Coffee next to us, the sun is slowly rising, and Podrick is enjoying his second stop at the food dish. Pippin? Private dining in the bedroom.

Yesterday was a long day, but in the grand scheme of things, not too bad. Just a long evening at work. We made it through the evening unscathed. I was very lucky that we didn’t have anyone come in after 8:45, so I could play the odds, and fill out the deposit book before we closed.

I was tired when I left. I had plans to have a bowl of cereal or something when I got home, cause I didn’t have dinner at work. I just wasn’t hungry. So when I got home, Crystal already had the hot cocoa going, so I just got a bowl of dried cranberries.

So with cranberries, and the hot cocoa, we settled down to watch, what I will end up calling it the months most useless SMACKDOWN! We haven’t finished yet, but so far it’s been a forgettable episode.

Back to work this afternoon. I can’t wait for tomorrow; day off. It’ll be a very most totally lazy day, with just one side quest to Shady Acres to clean the stove.

I am slowly recovering from the great migration from Thursday. I slept a lot better, and I feel less groggy this morning, as opposed to the morning before. So I’m gonna refill my coffee, and get ready to start the day.

Look at this photograph

It was a long, long ass day yesterday that started at 7:30am, and ended at midnight, when I power smoked a bowl, and kissed The Beautiful One good night. I was still wired, so it took a while to fall asleep.

I didn’t mean to banish Crystal out of the bedroom. I tried. I tried so hard to ignore him. I made 2 mistakes: I looked to see what time it was, then I didn’t get out of bed to use the bathroom right away.

I’m sorry Crystal.

One’s got the matches, one’s got the lashes one’s running her mouth again

Up early. But change of plans for the day. My grandmother is very very sick, so I’ll be escorting my dad to YetAnotherBigTown today. It’s about 5 hours away. He has a big scan today, so I’ll be there with him, while my mom is pretty much on death watch.

So this’ll be a short post, as I’m gonna drink some coffee, then get dressed, and prepare to leave in like an hour and a half. It’s gonna be a long long day. Hopefully it’s a good good one.

Ain’t the last time I’ll show up drunk enough to throw a punch

Its been a morning so far here. Podrick and I aren’t talking this morning. He knows just how to push my buttons. Every time. The coffee has been brewed, and is currently being consumed.

I don’t even know what to write this morning. I’m tired, and I’m struggling to come up with anything would be interesting. Here in TinyTown, nothing much happens. I went to Shady Acres yesterday to bring in the wood pellets and to clean the stove.

It too about an hour to bring in the pellets, then to clean the stove. I have it down to a science now. I could probably do it in my sleep if I had to. There’s still more pellets to bring down. I haven’t decided if I’ll bring in a couple a day, or head over to Shady Acres tomorrow while my parents are in CapitalCity for cancer stuff, and just bring in all of them in one go.

On the way home, I stopped at the tiny grocery store for something for dinner. I had an idea of what I wanted to make. I only had to head up to work for the main ingredient. After that, we did things, which I can’t remember.

For dinner, we had ghetto chicken parm, and it was spectacular. We watched an episode of FBI, because Netflix and RAW were acting up. After the episode, I took a chance and put on the episode of RAW, while it was still live – to not get commercials, and it actually played.

It wasn’t the best episode, but I was still sports entertained. Welcome to Tuesday. Make it count, y’all.
