In your heart I see the start of every night and every day

I awoke with a start at 6:27 am, when I heard a door slam. Then I just told myself it was my neighbour heading to work. that calmed me down enough to fall asleep again.

I awoke with a start when my alarm woke me up at 7:01. It felt like my alarm had been going off for a half hour, until I rolled over and saw what time it actually was.

Good morning everyone. Happy Monday to us all. The coffee is brewing, and looking outside, it’s a gray day. According to the old people in town, we need the rain for the fields. I understand that, I really do. I can’t just say, for my mental health, I prefer it to be sunny.

They just wouldn’t understand.

Anyways, I had a really good sleep. The temperature was perfect last night to snuggle into bed, and be perfectly warm.

Today is a great day, to have a great day! Let’s grab life by the nutsack, and make it ours! Woohoo, funday Monday!

I wake up to the thought of you, and I call your name

Good morning everyone. What a change from yesterday outside. While the birds are singing, it looks to be a gray, cooler day out there so far.

I had a good sleep. I woke up in the night as I usually do. But this this my knee had locked up, so I gingerly got out of bed, to straighten my leg and hobble to the bathroom and back again. The knee is just fine this morning, but boy was it stiff and sore at 2am.

The coffee is brewing and I’m about to put on the morning news on. It’s chore day, so in a couple of hours, I’ll get laundry started. Yay, chore day!

Good morning. Happy Saturday everyone. It should be the last day of the heat wave today. It’s sunny and very clear – it’s gonna be a hot one today.

The coffee is brewing, and I’m dressed, ready to go to work this morning. I think I had a good sleep.

Other than work today, I don’t have any plans. Work, and come back to the flat to do nothing. Oh, I might repot my hens and chicks into a bigger pot.

Fun times! Haha

Yup, up a little before my alarm. Forcing myself to go back to sleep almost worked until my alarm went off. I just rolled out about 5 minutes before the alarm went off.

We’re still in the midst of the heat wave. But don’t worry, it’s a dry heat. Man, heats heat. It’s currently 20 out, and is expected to get up to 33 today. Yesterday, we were hotter than Florida. Crazy!

The coffee is just about done brewing, and the morning news is on, so I’m going to start my morning, so I just want to wish you a hap hap happy Friyay.

The silence, the terror, the pain, the horror as you mom comes downstairs

Day 3 of the heat wave and it’s already warm. I’m not complaining at all. Better than cold, grey, and rainy. I was up about 10 minutes before my alarm, but I forced myself to try and sleep until my alarm went off. I did, and it did. So it’s another day started here in TinyTown.

I think it’s Thursday, it’s hard to tell without looking at a calendar, as I took an extra day off this week. But I’m pretty sure it’s Thursday, so we’ll go with that.

Work was pretty much dead yesterday. Had a couple of people come in. Nothing major. We did get a few things done which is always good. Today is our last day of freedom before BossLady comes back tomorrow.

Oh, would you look at that – coffee is ready. That’s my cue. Happy Thursday everyone!
