Morning everyone. I had an ok sleep until 6, where I was wide awake. I tried to go back to sleep but ultimately got up about 10 minutes ago.

I woke up shaky, slightly sick feeling. In these times you can be too sure, so there’s a COVID test working away on the counter. My heads stuffed up, and I have a pounding headache.

The BossLady likes to have a phone call, so when I texted her, I told her I would call in about an hour.

So yeah. What a great Wednesday so far. As per usual, it looks cold out there. I haven’t gone out yet, the tv says it’s cold, and looking out the window, it’s dark.

I’m gonna go and curl up on the couch for a minute.

It’s a negative COVID test. That’s good.

I’m pretty sure it was the pork chops from the tiny grocery store. lesson learned.

Maybe a little Maybelline but she don’t need it

Good morning everyone. I was in that weird sleep state of being kinda awake, but not really when the realization hit: it’s Tuesday today, and not Monday.

I go back to work today. I worked really hard on not thinking about work all weekend. I did pretty ok doing that. It was really nice.

But it’s time to make the donuts.

With a cup of coffee in my hand, I’m ready to greet the day. Happy Tuesday everyone!

Good morning. Happy Monday. It’s a holiday here north of the wall. It’s family day today. I’ll be hanging out at The Flat today. It’s Monday, that means a day off as per usual.

I slept like the dead. Only getting up once at around 4 to use the facilities. Then back into bed. The bed was the perfect temperature.

I don’t have anything planned for today. The new episode of Critical Role that should drop sometime in the early afternoon, and it’s become habit that I watch it as soon as it drops. Mostly because I’m not really doing anything at that point.

I have been watching Campaign 2. I’m enjoying it. You’ll laugh, you’ll probably cry, but it’s very entertaining. Who would have thought what watching a bunch of nerdy ass voice actors playing D&D would be so entertaining.

Definitely not me. That’s for sure.

Bougie like Natty in the styrofoam

Good morning, it’s Sunday and you know what that means: it’s chore day! That’ll get started in a couple hours or so.

It was warmish yesterday, then it slowly got colder as it rained – slowly changing over to snow. We didn’t get a lot but it’s a layer of ice, covered by snow.

But it’s nice and warm here at The Flat. And I have coffee. So let’s slowly wake up, and have some. I think it’s a pretty good way to start the day.

Good morning! So is SATURYAY a thing? Is that what the young kids are calling it? Anyways, here we are, Saturday!

I don’t have a lot planned. Laze around in the morning til about 10-10:30, then off to slightly bigger town for some groceries. Then back to the flat. It’ll take me longer to get there than for me to do what I need to do.

A couple of days ago I was getting something from the grocery store, and I spotted a little spindly plant. I saw what it was, and bought it.

It’s a little tiny coffee plant! I thought it was fitting that he be planted in a coffee container.

In 4-6 years it should produce coffee beans.

That’s pretty neat huh?
