Country roads, take me home to the place I belong

Good morning everyone. It’s like the day before the night before the storm. According to my weather app, a shit-tonne of snow will be falling come this time Wednesday morning. Im not looking forward to Wednesday. And that’s if the snow actually comes.

We’ll see.

Yesterday was a really good day. We did chores like it was a normal Sunday. And I played some BotW. I didn’t accomplish too much. I’m in pretty much a holding pattern. I’m ready to go and find Ganon, but I don’t want to die! Haha. I don’t want to spend like 4 hours trying to get to Ganon, then I’d have to fight him.

We’ll see.

Not too much planned for today. I don’t think that I’ll be getting dressed. I don’t need to go anywhere. I think a nice day at home will be nice. Just have to figure out dinner.

Sup, everyone. It’s bright and sunny, and very bright. It looks to be a nice day today. Good Sunday morning, my friends. I trust you had a good evening last night, and a nice morning so far.

Sorry if I bounce around, I’m still trying to wake up. When the alarm went off, it totally surprised me. It was a deep sleep last night. Last night, when my head touched the pillow, I was out. I don’t think I moved at all last night. I’m pretty sure I woke up in the same position as I fell asleep in.

We drove to SlightlyBiggerTown yesterday. It was a really nice day for a drive. And the grocery store was just starting to get busier as we were leaving. We didn’t have to wait in line at all. In and out in probably about 30 minutes. I looked at the list after the fact, we managed to get everything on the last, and I don’t think we got anything extra. We’re starting to get good at this again.

We came home, and put away the groceries, then we tucked into our subway sandwiches. Again, they didn’t disappoint. I ate the whole thing, and Crystal did as well. After lunch, I played some BotW, but then I passed the controller to Crystal.

And she kicked ass.

Thanks to Chaucer, and a mini kitty race at 6:30, we’re awake here. Good morning all you party people. I hope your Saturday is going as well as possible. It looks a little gray out there, but it looks like it may clear up.

We have coffee, and I have Chaucer on my lap. This is his usual morning routine. I’ll kick him off my lap, get up and do stuff, then come back and sit down. He’ll pop up on my lap as soon as I sit back down.

He’s a good man.

Not too much planned today. We’ll be heading to SlightlyBiggerTown for groceries later this morning. I don’t know if we have to stop anywhere else, but if we do, that’s cool. I’ll have to make my grocery list a little later on.

Awake. After imbibing some very yummy brownies, we hung out and watched some TikTok’s and then went to bed. Suddenly, the alarm went off, and here I am. Happy Friyay all!

It snowed in the night, and it’s still snowing right now. As my mother would say – there’s a skiff of snow on the ground. Better than something shovelable. I’m tired of shovelling snow!

I’d say it was a pretty good sleep. I slept right until the alarm went off. All the way through the night. I didn’t even wake up around six, just to see what time it was. I was out.

Yesterday was actually a productive day. I mostly cleaned and just made sure everything looks good. I took some payments, and even sold something to someone that wandered in. I’d say it was a pretty good day. When I left I felt accomplished.

One more shift, and then it’s the weekend. I can’t wait! Let’s get this day started!!

Sweet dreams are made of these

Oooh a rare second post on a week day! I know right? Well something awesome dropped today – the 3rd and final trailer for the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Lemme tell you, it seems like this game is going to be even bigger than BotW. And let me tell you, for a guy that hasn’t seriously played video games since I was like 13-15, I pretty much fell in love with BotW. It’s the first game in decades that I’ve spent any sort of time on. (I’m sure I’ve annoyed Crystal with watching videos, etc) You see my reflexes aren’t as quick as they were when I was a teen. And BotW is pretty much just my speed. Hell, I’m even getting better at puzzles. (But don’t tell Crystal, I love having her help!)

So yeah, as I was saying, the final trailer dropped this morning. And OMG, everything seems SO MUCH BIGGER. Bigger in every way. From falling from altitude, to just standing in the desert. Link seems very very small. And the world looks very very big.

But, I’m insanely excited about the release of this game next month. We’re still deciding on whether or not we’ll just get the digital download, or if we’ll travel to CapitalCity, and get a physical copy, and go to a few other places to make the trip worthwhile. I’m on the fence personally. I’d love to go into the city, and hit up Value Village, and eat “proper” fast food. But then the other part of me says “Dude it’s a 2.5 hour drive there, and 2.5 hour back. You have to spend money on gas, etc. And you’ll probably buy something that you don’t need – like more Twilight books.”

Hey, now I feel personally attacked.

I do need more Twilight books.

Also before I post my screenshots (I’m still waiting for them to upload), I really think I need a Lockup Library Video Game graphic. Don’t you? Is it silly for me to be excited about a video game? I mean I’m like, you know, freakin’ old?
