A jumpin’ up, fallin’ down don’t misunderstand me

With Chaucer trying his hardest to wake me up to feed him, he was up to hijinks this morning. He was clawing at the floor on my side of the bed, close to my head. Then shortly before the alarm was supposed to go off, he decided that he should throw up. In the bedroom, that’s what actually got me out of bed.

Good morning my friends. Welcome to Friyay! We made it. Mostly. I have work today, and tomorrow. Yep, I even asked BossLady if we were going to be open on the Kings coronation. She said yes. So I’ll watch the coronation on YouTube at work.

Yesterday didn’t go too bad, considering that I was up early to deliver the truck and trailer about a half hour away so BossLady and NewNewGirl wouldn’t have to waste time driving all the way here. See TinyTown is in a weird spot. We’re a half hour away from two towns so I drove to meet them at what locals call the corner. It saved them about 40 minutes.

I slept like the dead last night. The bed was pretty comfy and perfectly warm. Just right. It would’ve been nice if Chaucer would just let us sleep until the alarm. But maybe that’ll change once we get a curtain up there.

Moar coffee pls!

Down at Dino’s Bar’n’Grill the drink will flow and blood will spill

Up early today. We gotta get a curtain in the kitchen. It’s totally screwed up Chaucer’s internal clock. He was up with the sun today. Walking over us and crying like his life depended on it. I crawled out of bed before any of the alarms went off this morning.

Now, I’m waiting by the crossroads like I’m going to summon a demon, waiting for BossLady and NewNewGirl so I can hand off the work truck, and let them go off to CapitalCity to deliver some furniture. It’s really nice out here. A slight breeze, but not too bad.

Yesterday wasn’t too bad either. A lot of busy work, and looking busy. Just the normal prep for the trip to the big city the following day. I took some payments and sent out some bills.

Crystal texted me saying that we were going to have burgers for dinner, so when I got home – I cooked some pretty damn good burgers. We walked away from dinner full, and satisfied.

I can’t wait to get home, to have some more coffee. Come on team members let’s get the day started!!

I was cutting a rug down at place called The Jug

Awake. I’ve been awake on and off since I think about 6:30. I’d wake up thinking that the alarm never went off. Then my mind would tell me that Crystal wouldn’t let me sleep in on a work day, and drift back to sleep. At one point, I asked Crystal what time it was. She said, I think, 6:50. Then I fell back asleep. I heard a cat clawing on the the ground. I thought they clawed a hole in the carpet. Then I fell back asleep. Then it was 6:55.

Then finally, thankfully the alarm went off. The alarm clock was set. I knew it was. But stupid tricks of the mind. Here I am. With a nice mug full of coffee.

Yesterday at work wasn’t too bad. It’s always a little crazy when BossLady comes back from a trip. But in the grand scheme of things, it wasn’t too bad. We got through it, and BossLady took off early to visit a client that’s been having a hard time with their new home build. So hopefully she took care of any problems that came up.

Crystal made a kick ass taco dinner for, we actually made it on taco Tuesday. It was really good. And I have enough for lunch today. That’s even better.

So now, let’s see what today brings. Happy Wednesday y’all 🙂

She’s been looking like a queen in a sailor’s dream and she don’t always say what she really means

Good morning my friends. Welcome to the start of the work week. Yep, it’s Tuesday, again. Let’s get hype for the rest of the week! I crashed as soon as my head hit the pillow. I flipped the clock so you can’t see what time it is. So I wake up and doze a couple of minutes before the alarm goes off. So half my mind is trying to get back to sleep and the other half is thinking I never turned the alarm on.

Either way, I mostly slept until the alarm went off. But it’s a nice and sunny day out there this morning. It should be a warm day today. FINALLY! I think, dare say, even want to whisper that maybe it’s spring out there. I think it was Saturday, when I put the snow shovel in the closet. I think it was time.

We went out to SlightlyBiggerTown to hit up an antique store, the second hand store, and the grocery store to pick up some essentials for the next week. Nothing major, but some stuff that we needed. It was a gorgeous day, and a nice day for a drive.

When we got back Crystal jumped and started work on the liber. Of her jacket. I booted up BotW, but Crystal said that she downloaded a new game for me to try – The Stanley Parabel. It’s crazy, and strange and weird. It really like it. If you’ve never heard of it, just get it and play it.

Trust me.

Time to get the day started. Happy Tuesday, my friends!

And we’d steal away every chance we could to the backroom, to the alley or the trusty woods

I promise while you’re looking at the featured image on this post, they were side-by-side looking out the window this morning. They really were. Trust me.

Good morning my friends! It’s a bright and sunny day here again. The cats are in the window. They moved a little bit. Chaucer is in the back door, and Pippin is in the front window.

It was a truly lazy day here yesterday. We didn’t do too much of anything. I played BotW, and Crystal worked on her patch work kimono. I think it’s going to look pretty good. It looks like it’s going to be a comfy coat to wear.

We had an amazing dinner of chicken chunks, fries, tots, and coconut shramp for dinner. It was very good. Just about as good as this mornings coffee.

Ahh the morning is here, Chaucer just climbed up on my lap. Good morning everyone, happy Monday!
