You’re my doll, rock’n’roll, feel the glamour in pink

Friday, Friday, gotta get down on Friday. Yep, it’s Friyay here! Woohoo! I was up a little early this morning. I would randomly wake up and cough a couple times until I found a more comfortable position, then the whole thing would start all over again. It’s all good.

The coffee has brewed, and we’re consuming it. I’m a little tired, but it workabale. The cats are wandering around – probably both are fighting for control of the table.

Yesterday at work, wasn’t too bad. We had a couple of customers come in. BossLady was supposed to come in for a few minutes, but I got a text saying the construction was slowing her down too much, and she was turning around. She called a little while later, and I had to gather a few things for her and to just text some pictures to her. Easy.

NewNewGirl was supposed to open with me, but BossLady said she’d be in around noon. Cool. I took care of a few items, and just held down the fort. It was a relatively slowish day. When NewNewGirl arrived that’s when BossLady called and gave us some tasks.

After work, I came home and Crystal had dinner going and it was an amazing meal of beef fajitas. It was so very good.

But today is a new day, so let’s get things started. It’s almost the weekend, friends. Let’s do this 🙂

Blood in the streets in the town of New Haven

Oh, hello there. I’m pretty sure I slept through the night. I don’t think I moved in the night, so I’m a little stiff. When I woke up, both kittens were on the bed all snuggled in. I slept like the dead.

It’s trying so very hard to be bright and sunny outside. It’s not too bad out there, a little cool but should be a nice day out there. The coffee is brewing m, and the cats are wandering around. I think Pippin is on the back door table, and I’m not too sure where Chaucer is.

Yesterday at work wasn’t too bad. I think I got quite a bit done. I built some furniture, and helped one customer out, and sold her a lamp, so all in all not too bad of a day. I even made some phone calls and actual work as well. So it was a little steady, but mostly slow.

Sorry but the words aren’t coming too easy this morning. So I’m gonna sign off. Drink some coffee and know in your heart of hearts that the weekend is coming pretty quick. Happy Thursday!

I got lost in the sounds

Good morning, my friends. Not too bad of a sleep, except for a small coughing fit around 3:30-4 this morning. I got up coughing, blew my nose a few times, and drank some water. I snuck back into bed and snuggled a slightly too warm Crystal. It’s ok, I snuggled her until I found comfort on my back, and probably kept everyone awake with my snoring.

But we’re all awake here. The sun is shining, but it’s a chilly day out there. I don’t think it’s going to get too much warmer today. I think it’s only a high of mid 70s today. Not too warm, not too cool.

Yesterday at work was slow. No voicemails, not texts from the box, and no repliable emails to follow up on. I did what I could, but pretty much watched YouTube videos until it was time to leave.

Both of us played Skyrim yesterday. Me, stumbling blinds around, slowly getting used to the controls. It’s fun, and I really want to like it, and maybe I will. It’s just a massive learning curve.

Well, my baby and me went out late Saturday night

I almost slept until the alarm. Well, I pretty much did. I think I tried to get a look at the clock sometime this morning. Looked at it, and closed my eyes until the alarm went off. Good morning my friends. It’s a gray morning here, and I’m wearing pants.

Yesterday was quite possibly one of the best sloth days that we’ve had. We didn’t do really anything. After brunch, I loaded up Skyrim. Don’t you worry your little heads, I’m not giving up of TotK. I just wanted to try something different. I’m level five, and it’s not too bad. It’s a total change from what I’m used to. I’ll keep trying it!

For dinner, Crystal suggested that we make some chicken Caesar wraps. So I saved some bacon from brunch, and fried it up while the chicken and fries were in the oven. It was wicked good when we finally got everything out together.

So yeah, I’m going back to work today. I don’t know if it’ll be a full day, or a half day. If I was a betting man, I’d probably bet that I’d be just working a half day today. I don’t think BossLady will be in today, and Tuesdays are pretty much quiet, so I’m gonna assume right now that I’ll be home at noon. But we’ll see, it could be a steady day that requires me to stay most of the day. We’ll see.

But for now, I need a refill, and maybe some cold meds. Hap hap happy Tuesday my friends.

At night we’re painting your trash gold, while you sleep

Finally, I slept all the way through the night. Huzzah! Crystal even got up sometime in the morning, and I didn’t hear or feel her get up. Hot dog, that was a much better sleep than I’ve had the last 3 or 4 days.

So far, it’s bright and sunny outside. It rained in the night, so the ground is still wet, and there’s puddles. It’s supposed to be a little cooler than it’s been. I’ll take it, winter is coming.

Nothing planned for today. It’s gonna be a sloth day for sure today. The only thing that I want to do is brunch a little later. It’s the long weekend, and everything is closed. So we’ll just hang out and do labor day things. Which means TV, video games, bacon, and relaxation.

But before the relaxation, comes the coffee. Yep, short post this morning, but that’s ok. I don’t have minimums or maximums for posting. Sometimes you just have to go with the flow.
