You are my fire the one desire

Good morning my friends. Everyone in The Flat is awake, and Chaucer has all ready tossed his breakfast. So it’s pretty much another day here in TinyTown. Fun huh?

I think I got up in the night. The clock either said 12:47, or 2:47. I didn’t dwell on the clock when I got up to go to the bathroom. Knowing my bladder, and the highness, I’d be betting it was 12:47. But I climbed back into bed, and I fell back asleep pretty quickly. Only because when I climbed back into bed, I shut the heat off to my side. It was warm lemme tell you.

But I fell back to sleep. It was that weird temperature – I was either cold or too warm. Thems the breaks I guess. I think the next time I got up was just a few minutes before the alarm went off.

Crystal got some Halloween costumes at the second hand store yesterday. Including one that I just told her just get it. You’re coming up with all these funny ideas, so just get it! Spoiler alert: she got it.

So it’s a grey day here. It’s ok. I have to be back at work for a full day today. Let’s get the day started, so the day will be over!

But first: coffee.

I’m in a position where people that’s older than me look at me as a leader

Awake. I can’t remember if I got up in the night. I don’t think I did, but you never know. Course, I probably did. It’s a bright and sunny day out there so far, and I can hear the garbage truck toodling around. The coffee has been brewed, and like I said a little earlier, it’s a very nice fall day so far. I’ll have to look at the weather app in a little bit.

Lemme tell you, yesterday was a nice relaxing day. We took turns playing some Skyrim, and TotK. We just lazed around not really doing too much of anything. We had brunch, which was very good, and for dinner, Crystal was very excited about having some leftover pizza, while I had some chicken wings.

Back to work again this morning. I don’t want to dwell on that, just dwelling on thought that I’ll just be there until noon. Shouldn’t be too bad of a day. Then we can go to the second hand store, and slightly extend the weekend.

But I need to do a couple of morning chores, happy Tuesday my friends. Let’s kick some ass

Lips as sweet as candy

Here we go again. Another Monday. A new week is on our doorstep. But wait, did y’all see the score of the Dolphins game from yesterday?

That’s insane, huh? Miami must have done the Annexation of Cuba. It’s the only way they could’ve won by that high of a score. So yeah, that came from out of nowhere for sure.

Yesterday was pretty nice. I did the chores through out the morning, and the beautiful one played some Skyrim. She was kicking some ass, killing some random people so she could be cool and fit in with her new friends that she’s making. I’m happy that she’s fitting in. Usually, overachievers don’t get to fit in with the others, but she’s doing very well.

After Skyrim, we went over to Shady Acres for dinner. It’s always quiet over there. Mom talked to one of the cats as she just randomly made a pie for desert. A couple weeks ago we helped to pick the apples from the tree in the back. She’s been drying apples, and all that. She has a ton of apples to still process.

Short story long, the pie was very good. I enjoyed it. The whole dinner was really good.

I can’t talk for Crystal, but I slept like the dead. I did get up in the night, I’m still refusing to look at the clock. I did my thing, and as I’m walking back, I step on a giant carrot cat toy, which made some noise, but not enough to wake up Crystal, or the kittens.

And now here we are. It’s brunch day. That’ll start in a few hours. Who knows what’s on the deck for today. So far, I can’t think of anything that I have to do today. so let’s just play it by ear.

Yeah, bitch, I said what I said

Good morning. It’s still pretty grainy out there. I think it supposed to be like this pretty much all weekend. Blech. I’m not too fond of grainy days. Yep, just checked – this is as good as it gets weather-wise today. Chances of random drizzle/rain today as well.

Least we don’t have anything planned for the day. Just chores pretty much. Maybe a movie as well before we head over to Shady Acres this afternoon. But yeah, it a little while chore day will be in full swing for sure.

We have the news channel on. On the weekends, they just have a Dateline marathon. On Sundays, after a couple of hours of Dateline, they play some regular network shows. So later on today, we’ll have Meet the Press, etc. Good times.

When the alarm went off, Chaucer was the only kitten on the bed. I don’t think that Pippin was snuggled up there. When I got up in the middle of the night, she was curled up on the couch.

We watched a movie last night – Nobody. It was pretty good. It was a no think just stare movie. Sometimes you need a movie like that. Ultra-violent, and really it seemed like they walked the movie past the plot room. But the plot room was locked for the weekend. It was a good no think popcorn movie.

You know what’s better than popcorn? Coffee. The coffee has been brewed. It’s time to get a refill. Happy Sunday my friends.

Ok ok ok, I’m awake. It’s a gray and rainy day here. So much rain. My question is why couldn’t we get some of this liquid sunshine during the summer? Anyways, it is what it is, and of course we’ll welcome the rain!

Finally, it’s the weekend! We do have some stuff to do today. In a little bit later, I’ll be writing up a shopping list. Nothing major, just the regular food run. And probably the drug store, and maybe even a foot long submarine sandwich. Who knows! The world is our oyster.

I slept like the dead last night. I did get up sometime in the darkness to get something to drink and blow my nose. I don’t think it had started to rain yet. While I didn’t look at the clock, the small bottle of water that I left on the counter, was still a little cold. So it couldn’t have been too long after going to bed.

But I need to refill the ol coffee mug, so I’m gonna sign off. But lemme tell you, I think to day will be a perfect day to return to Forks, Washington. What do you think?
