Who knows how to play with the gods

TGI motherfucking F.

Finally, Friyay has graced us with her presence. And finally work is over for the week. It’s been a long week today. But we made it through the whole week. For me, there was only one schedule change.

The alarm scared the shit out of me this morning. 4:30 came wicked early. But I got out of bed, and started the day. It’s nice to look out the kitchen window, and to see the sun slowly starting to rise.

As I left, I remembered that I forgot about getting his dog buns, but that wasn’t really my fault, as the bread delivery hadn’t arrived. So I stopped at the small grocery store. From there I hit up the post office, and then delivered mail to Shady Acres, as my dad had a parcel.

Home now. I unloaded what groceries I could buy at work, I can get a few items on discount at work – the majority of the groceries will be purchased tomorrow when we go to SlightlyBiggerTown.

I’m gonna play a video game for a little while. I may or may not need a nap. I’m sleepy AF. Deadass. No Cap.

Cuddle with the homies watching “Stand By Me”

Awake. The bed did not want to release its hold on me this morning. It was a chore to roll out of bed. But I made it. Here I am.

Coffee is being consumed. And the cats are either stalking around, or looking out the window. Chaucer is waiting to get into my lap. So I have to keep typing! He’s getting snuggled in.

I slept like the dead again last night while it’s great that I’m doing that, I wake up really groggy. Soon, after posting this, I’ll go and get dressed and start the morning stuff.

So I’m going to post this, and drink some more coffee. I hope y’all have a good Thursday, the week is just about at an end. That’s a good thing, it’s been a long week!

Feel the beat from the tambourine, oh yeah

Ahh who doesn’t like Gregorian Throat singing? Right?

Hello party people, it is I, the Shank of Shaw. I’m home from another glorious day of work. And it was a slow one today. But we got what was needed done, plus defrosted two freezers.

So the store changed its hours and is now closed on Sundays. Wow, I never thought that people would be pissed off at this. But Yeppers, according to the towns bulletin board on Facebook, there’s two or three people really upset about this.

Oh well. It is what it is. We just don’t have the people to keep the shift.

I don’t know the reason stayed up all season

Good morning y’all. The alarm scared me this morning. I have a mid shift today. I can’t wait for this week to be over. My alarm is all over the place. Early Monday, sleep in Tuesday, somewhat early Wednesday, Thursday, and finally sleep in because I’m closing Friday.

Good times.

It’s been really nice temp wise out there. It’s been sunny and it’s getting warmer. I didn’t have a jacket on yesterday. It was warm enough to not need one.

It was glorious.

Hopefully, it’ll be the same for today. And, it doesn’t feel as windy out there.

I think that’s it for this morning. I don’t have too much else to report. Just ask me later to explain Sheep of Theseus.

Trust me on the sunscreen.

La la, la la, la *ding*

It’s bright, it’s somewhat warm. That means it’s Tuesday here in TinyTown. I slept like the dead. I think once I got comfortable, I again, didn’t move. I woke up minutes before the alarm went off, in the same position as when I fell asleep.

Yesterday at work wasn’t too bad. According to all the old people that came in, “fucking Trudeau, and his fucking carbon tax. It’s going to raise the price of gas.” I don’t know if it was the carbon tax (whatever that is), but gas did go up yesterday. No one other than the old farmers, even noticed. If they did, then never said anything

So it goes.

Today, I’ll be heading in for the closing shift. I have two this week. Today, and Friday. The closing shifts not too bad. The time seems to go rather quickly. I’ll be doing the closing paperwork tonight. I figure that if I have a closing shift with TisimBoy, I’ll close. Simple, right?

I have a glorious Chaucer on my lap. Pippin on the other hand, is very happy that Crystal put out the table. So she’s looking out the back door. The sun is in her face, and Crystal says she looks like she’s melted.
