Good morning. The sun is shining and I can hear birds singing outside. Happy Thursday everyone. We’re close to the weekend!

Speaking of the weekend, it’s gonna be a busy one for me. I’m going to a rodeo! I’m excited and dreading it. Excited because I’ve never gone to one before. Dreading, because of all the people. I don’t do well in crowds. But I think it’ll be ok, and a heck of a lot of fun.

Yee-haw!

Maybe I’ll find a really nice pair of ass-less chaps!

But it’s time to mainline some coffee. Let’s kick Thursday in the nuts!

Good morning everyone! It looks like it going to be a nice day out there today. So nice in fact, I’m wearing shorts this morning.

Yesterday was a pretty good day. Work by myself, and got a few things prepped to order this morning. Got NewNewGirl today, so I’ll have someone to talk to.

Shouldn’t be too bad today. Hopefully the day will go quickly.

I have coffee this fine morning, so that part is pretty good. So let’s get the day started. Happy Wednesday!

Good morning everyone! Once again, we survived the major thunderstorm that crossed our area last night.

I learned something about my alarm clock this morning after the power went off in the night. The battery back up saves everything but the radio station preset!

But I’m awake, dressed, and have coffee. Let’s get the day started!

Good morning! Happy Monday everyone! We survived the storms last night. Crystal got to see part of the lightshow last night. After hanging up with her, the lightshow continued. I know when I woke up about an hour later, it was still going on.

With the light show, there was some thunder, but it cooled down in the Flat pretty quickly, and I fell right to sleep.

But now it’s Monday, and it’s cooler in here, so I have my Sunday chores to do today. It’ll keep me busy this morning.

But first coffee and kitten snuggles.

Good morning party people! It’s a bright, sunny and hot hot hot morning already. All the blinds are down, and Pippin is annoyed that she can’t look out the back door. Reason – it’s closed to try and keep the heat at bay. I told her I’ll open it in a couple of hours.

We’re expecting a high in the low 90s today. Yep it’s hot for here, but again this is not an excuse to have an AC. There’s no point in them here. It’s literally hot here for like 2 weeks a year. Don’t be like my neighbour that’s one house down. Running her window AC, and I haven’t seen her car since Thursday.

So with all the heat, I’m not going to do my chores until tomorrow. I don’t feel like running the washer and dryer in this weather. Tomorrow is supposed to be about 10 degrees cooler. I’ll do it all tomorrow.

Yesterday, when I went to SlightlyBiggerTown, I was cut off due to a parade driving towards me down Main Street. I quickly turned off and came back to watch the parade. It was fun!

From there I want to a couple of stores and bought a suction cup bird feeder for the kitten, and then went for lunch, then off to do my drug deal. Ahh legal weed. Yay Canada! Then it was a quick trip to the grocery store where they didn’t have wings. That made me a little sad. After that back to the Flat to unpack everything.

All in all a good Saturday if you ask me!
