G’s up, hoes down, while you motherfuckers bounce to this

Good morning party people! It’s shortly after 7am, and the sun is slowly rising. There was playing in the night. Specifically around 5ish this morning. The playing woke both of us up. We both thought that both kittens were playing.

We were wrong.

It was a lone kitty playing – Chaucer.

Yes you read that right. The old man was having the time of his life, playing with a little blue fish with not a care in the world. I got up to go to the bathroom, and Pippin was really trying to sleep in there while Chaucer was playing like the end of the world was at stake.

Now, he’s really trying to get into a lap, so he can go to sleep. We’re both denying him lap space. I have my feet up, and Crystal has her Chromebook. He’s totally not impressed with this.

We’ve started to play co-op Cat Quest 2. I’m really enjoying playing. It keeps my attention, and that says a lot. I like the game because there’s no competition between the two players – there’s a shared inventory, and shared gold. It really allows the players to just play the game – and kick some bad cat, and bad dog ass.

Ok, I really need coffee. Happy hump day!

The prairie sky. Is wide and high

Good morning everyone! The cats let us “sleep in” until 7:30. I think that’s a new record. The coffee is brewing, and the cats are having a stare off in the living room. I think they play in the night. Neither of them actually slept on the bed last night. It was like two sharks circling us this morning.

So we got up and started our morning routine. Coffee, feed the cats, etc. Chaucer is really trying to get into Crystal’s lap. In that aspect, he’s like a dog with a bone. Nothing else matters but that lap.

As you can see, they are starting to be able to almost be in the same space. Pippin was upset that he was in my lap last night, and instead of climbing into Crystal’s lap to spite him, she got as close as she could without touching him. It’s cute.

The curtains are all open, and the sun is shining this morning. With a high of 10, it’s supposed to be sunny all day – just some gusts of wind. Shouldn’t be too bad of a day. It’s my last day of vacation, and we’re going to check out some second hand stores, namely one in SlightlyBiggerTown. You remember, the one that was closed when we were there last Friday.

Yes, I’ve checked, it is open today. Woot!

Coffee time!

In the jungle the mighty jungle the lions play all night

You read that right, the kittens played probably most of the night. They were playing as we finally fell asleep. And they were playing when we woke up.

Pippin in fact, is still in play mode. Chaucer on the other hand, ate a little too quickly, and was sick. So he’s not in the mood to continue playing. He wants to look out the window, and brood. I swear he broods better than Batman.

It was an ok sleep. We shut off our alarms so we could sleep in. By “we”, it’s mostly me. Crystal was up early again. I think we “slept” in until 7:30 this morning. Some sleep in huh?

Anyways, we’re up and ready to greet the day, each with a cup of coffee. The cats are pretty much settled down I think. Chaucer just climbed up, and is trying to get comfortable on my lap.

So yeah, happy Monday y’all.

I’m easy like Sunday morning, whoa

I woke up at one point, and the little kitten, Pippin was snuggled in between us. I gave her pets and loves, then tried to roll over it something, and she got up. I think she only got up to go on to her bed I set up, at the foot of the bed, probably 2 feet from Chaucer’s. So I think they slept on the bed together. The first time all of us have slept on the bed.

Pretty cool, if you ask me!

Yep, today is Sunday. The day of chores. I’ll probably start that in a little bit. Eventually, I’ll prep for Toaster’s run this afternoon.

Right now, I’m watching the cats almost stalk each other, in the slowest dance I’ve ever seen. It’s kind of cute. I think they’re finally starting to get used to each other. There’s less and less hissing every day.

Did we just become best friends?!

And with that, coffee time. Happy Sunday y’all!

Because one day, I’ll leave you a phantom

Good morning my friends. I wish I could say it was a bright and sunny day out there, but it’s a gray and windy down so far. Maybe it’ll sunny up, but maybe it won’t. We’ll totes see if it decides to do that.

The cats are awake. Of course I woke up about 10 minutes before the alarm was set to go off. So I got up and went to the bathroom, and got back into bed. A couple of seconds later, Pippin jumped up and said good morning. I think at that point, Chaucer was stalking around, waiting for his bowl to be filled.

We’re now on the couch, with Dateline playing on the TV. Chaucer climbed up on Crystal’s lap when she wasn’t playing attention, and is currently snuggled in for the long haul. I just heard Crystal mutter, “when you get up, I’m getting my computer”.

I don’t think Chaucer will be getting up by choice, for a while. He’s comfy, and when he’s comfy, he’s good to sit still for a while. When he lays down he’s down for a minimum of a couple of hours, if left undisturbed.

I slept like the dead. We had a really good day yesterday. We went to SlightlyBiggerTown for groceries, and just a look around. We checked out an antique store, and grabbed some lunch. From there we went to the local drug dealer to pick up some yummy vape cartridges, and went to the second hand store.

CLOSED.

Damnit. so we went to another general store type to grab an HDMI (not gold tipped), and then went grocery shopping. As we were driving back to The Flat, I asked if she wanted to go to the lookout high above a lake. She said yes, so we make it back, and put away all the groceries. She grabbed her poi, and we were off again.

Hey, if you want to read the rest, by the rights.
