Did you hear my covert narcissism I disguise as altruism

Another day, another early rise. Up again early today, but not as early as Crystal. I didn’t feel her get out of bed this morning, but I think I stretched out and she was gone. Pippin curled up next to my neck and just snuggled right in for a little while. she’s currently loafed up on my lap.

Another busy day at work yesterday. We’re in the middle of inventory. BossLadies youngest started work with us yesterday. I’ll have to come up with a good nickname to call her on here. But nevertheless, we started inventory in the bedroom area of the showroom. We got about an hour or so in, and she got a text from her dad telling her to leave because he needed to use her truck. There was frustration on all sides, but it is what it is. After she left, I continued to work on the inventory, but just looking for prices and cost for items that we’ve already counted.

This’ll probably be a short post as I don’t have too much to say this morning. But lemme tell you the coffee is yummy as always. But let’s get going. Let’s get the day started! Happy Thursday!

If I find you been creeping ’round my back stairs

We’ll the streak of me waking up around 6am holds. It’s getting to be about that time that my face plugs right up and I’m breathing through my mouth. So I wake up, because 1. I can’t breathe, and 2. My face is so plugged up. So I toss and turn to find that sweet spot where I can actually breathe.

By the time I get in a comfy, pro-breathing position, the alarm goes off. On the plus side today, Pippin was snuggled in between us this morning. She was prepping for the chasey chasey game with Crystal.

So the alarm goes off, and that’s when the game starts. Crystal starts wiggling her fingers so Pippin starts in with the fox jumps as I’m getting dressed. And the morning has begun.

Welcome to Wednesday! The middle of the week. It was a quiet day at work yesterday. I was on the phone and calling people for the first hour or so. That’s very impressive, because I hate talking on the phone. But it needed to be done, and I took care of what needed to be done. Yay!

We watched the 200th episode of Supernatural last night. It was a filler-monster-of-the-week, but it was a great one. It reminded me of the second season a lot. Lots of humour, and just great Supernatural.

I just refilled my coffee, and we’re watching the news. Good morning my friends!

Good morning. It’s dark, and warmish out there. I’ve been up since around 6 I think. Just awake. I was a little tossy turny. I lightly dozed until the alarm went off at 7.

I had a good day yesterday. I didn’t really do too much of anything. I played video games for the day, and was terrible at them. I played Assassins Creed 3, and started playing the pirate assassins creed one as well. I think I enjoyed number 3 more. I’m terrible at video games. I mean I can do the basics of games, but stuff that’s really intense, they’re a lot more difficult to me.

Back to work today! Like I said yesterday, it’s gonna be a long week – plus I’m working Saturday. We’ll make it through. After work Saturday, I think we’ll be going grocery shopping. Maybe. Maybe we’ll go Sunday. Just like the future-cast for weather, we won’t know until the day.

But first coffee.

The cats are starting to play this morning. Chaucer is trying to start shit. It’s very cute.

Good morning everyone! We were up a little early here at the flat. So the plan is, after brunch, we’ll try and take a little nap. Naps are good.

It’s gonna be a long week here. I’ve gotten used to only working 3 days for a couple of weeks. This week, I’ll be working 5 days. I know, I know – poor baby you’re working a full work week. I’ll just have to get used to it again.

Crystal was up earlier than me today, so when I rolled out of bed, the coffee was already started. Pippin was snuggling as I woke up. So I played the chasey chasey game for a minute or two, then I got up. Both kitties are on the couch right now. Pippin on my lap, and Chaucer in between us.

I started to play Assassins Creed III. I barely made it out of the tutorial area, and I’m stumbling through the main game now. It’s very fun. I haven’t played a game like this for a long time. I played for a couple of hours before we left for Shady Acres for dinner. I might play a little bit today.

When we were over at Shady Acres, Crystal got my dad to fire up the table saw, and he cut a My Little Pony in half. Crystal has an idea for book ends. I’m excited to see how it ends up!

But for now, we have the news on, and Crystal is reading me fun and interesting articles that she finds online. It’s a good morning. Pull up a cup of coffee and have a good morning everyone!

Happy Sunday! It’s a new day out there, I’m told. It doesn’t feel too cold out there, and since it was so warm yesterday, it feels like the snow banks are a little smaller this morning. They might be, but probably not. Just a trick of the eyes, I think.

I woke up once in the night. I was only awake long enough to see what the time was – 5:30. Then I rolled over, and went back to sleep. Out like a light. Then the alarm went off. That’s pretty much the best sleep that I’ve had in a while.

Pippin just jumped up on to my lap, and is snuggling in. Chaucer is wondering around. He just got sick in the litter box. I have to scoop soon anyways. But it was less for me to clean up!

It was a perfect lazy day yesterday. I went out for dinner and came back. We had a really good fish and chips dinner with some mozzarella sticks, and some coconut shramp. It was really good.

Not too much on deck, just the usual Sunday chores. Get some! Oh, and also coffee!
