So your girlfriend rolls a Honda, playin’ workout tapes by Fonda but Fonda ain’t got a motor in the back of her Honda

First things first, (I’m a realist) HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BEAUTIFUL CRYSTAL! Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday, dear Crystal. Happy birthday to you!

We were both up wicked early. The kitties were snuggling and all that, and I just couldn’t fall back asleep. We snuggled for a little bit, but then I couldn’t anymore, so I got up and start the day.

It’s Sunday, chore day. I’ll be starting it in a couple of hours, after my eyes begin to focus. Due to my poor planning, and Amazon trying it’s hardest to get one gift here on time, sadly Crystal doesn’t have anything to open this morning. There’s a chance that there will be a gift arriving tomorrow, and I think a couple by Valentine’s Day. But nothing this morning. Once again, like every year it got away from me.

But it’s time for coffee and Dateline. Happy Sunday y’all!

Stop right now thank you very much I need somebody with the human touch

yawn. Good morning my friends. I rolled over at one point, and looked at the clock: 4:20am. I laughed to myself, and tried to get back to sleep. I think for the most part I managed to do that. Then I had to pee. Then the cats thought it would be a good time to wake up. We’ll, Chaucer at least. He stalked around in a circle, mostly around the pillow region.

Until we woke up. Or at least made it known that we were awake. Pippin snuggled us this morning. Chaucer just walked around, and in his own way woke us up.

Work wasn’t too bad yesterday. I got a text in the morning from BossLady saying that she’d be in, in about 10 minutes or so. 35 minutes later, she rolled in. It wasn’t too bad. She was leaving early, and said she had a lot to do. She gave me some stuff to do, with the promise of more. She took off around 2ish or so, and dropping a few more items off at my desk. And was gone.

Last night, we had date night. I had gotten a text from my mom saying that she had called the restaurant, and there was going to be a surprise there for Crystal. I thanked her, and then didn’t say a word to Crystal. We had our usual burgers and half a field of fries. Then the cook came out with a piece of pie, two scoops of ice cream and a candle on top. It was a good slice of pie.

Back to work this morning. Should be a good day. Nice short day, then it’s the weekend! Party on Wayne!

Book haul!

Hey hey book nerds! It’s been a while huh? We’ll it’s been whirlwind here, but we were in the right place at the right time!

Some guy had just dropped off two bags of Stephen King books. I used one of the bags he carried them in with to stuff it full. Usually the second hand store does a bag sale for a dollar with books. Just a grocery bag. So the lady at the counter said $2. I told her I’ll give $3, so I wouldn’t feel like I was cheating them out of money.

She thanked me. I thanked her.

What a great haul!

“Somebody kill the Queen!” – 200 degrees, that’s why they call me Mister Fahrenheit

Good morning my friends! Yes, that’s right, it’s like the best day of the week: Friyay! All that stands before me, and the weekend is two shifts. I think I’ll be able to live through the two days! I got this!

Yesterday, we travelled to SlightlyBiggerTown for my eye appointment. Easy Peasy, within about 20-30 minutes I had my prescription. From there we went to a couple of store, had lunch, then went to the second hand store.

Someone had just dropped off two large bags of Stephen King books, so for a few minutes Crystal and I went through them, and figured out which ones to grab. It was like a feeding frenzy! Haha.

After the second hand store, I ran over to the grocery store and grabbed a big slab pizza. That’ll be for dinner.

We listened to the court case that we’ve listened to all week. It’s like a train wreck. You just can’t look away. On Wednesday, the court house actually had a bomb threat called in.

What a crazy court case!

Ok, time to wake up! Let’s get the day done, so we can start the weekend with date night! Happy Friyay everyone!

This ain’t a scene, it’s a goddamn arms race

It’s Thursday. Yep, the red headed step child of the week. I’m off from work today, because it’s the day I go and get my eyes checked. Yep! That’s right! Finally I’ll be getting a new prescription.

I must be excited or something. I’ve been up and dozing for a while. It was a family snuggle pile. Pippin was in between us, and I think Chaucer was just stalking around, waiting for food to be given to him.

But before all that, it’s coffee time. And I have to say, that I do make a damn fine cup of coffee. It’s pretty good. Nice and hot and I think strong. It tastes pretty gosh darn good.

Chaucer has wedged himself in between us this morning on the couch. It’s his usual place in the mornings. As much as he dislikes human contact. In the mornings, he forgets that I think. It’s cute, and I give him loves.

I hope all y’all have a really good day today. I’m gonna try as well!
