What I say and I ain’t gonna waste my time sayin’ it all again

Good morning my friends. It’s a bright and sunny morning here in our corner of the world. I’ve been mostly up since about 6:30. I was a little chilly and tried to get as close to Crystal as possible. But it wasn’t my front that was cold, it was my back.

Then the alarm went off.

The coffee has been made.

And is being consumed.

It was a pretty good day yesterday. I played just a little bit of TotK. Then I thought we could have some fun, so I put on Raider of the Lost Ark. I always forget what a good movie it is. After that, Temple of Doom. I always forget what a weak movie that is. I don’t think that there would be the number of Indians Jones movies if that one had been released first.

I made chicken wings for dinner for myself, and spicy chicken sandwiches for Crystal. I have to say that the meal was pretty good. I was full.

So all in all, the lazy day was a good day. Happy Tuesday y’all!!

Just call me angel of the morning, angel just touch my cheek before you leave me, baby

Good morning my friends. It’s a bright and sunny day out there. You can also feel the heat. There’s no wind out there, so the heat is just sitting there. According to the weather app, it’s supposed to overcast today with a 50% chance of a thunderstorm later on this afternoon. We’ll see if that happens.

I had a pretty good day yesterday. We watched some documentaries, and then I played some TotK. Nothing major. Just playing around. I became a Yoga blademaster yesterday, so there’s that.

After I was finished, I packed up the Switch (I don’t know why I want to call it the Wii). And we made the short drive over to Shady Acres for dinner. I set up the Switch, and Crystal kicked some ass for a little while until dinner was ready. We had a good dinner of beef in gravy, and potatoes. For desert it was angel food cake and fresh berries.

We came home, fed the kitties, and settled in, and we watched Howl’s Moving Castle. I had never seen it before, and I liked it a lot. It was a very cute movie. I liked the animation style.

It’s the last day of the weekend, it’s our lazy day. I don’t plan on getting dressed or actually leaving the Flat today. It should be a really nice relaxing day. We’ll find something to entertain us.

Enjoy your Monday!

How many damn posts will this be?!

Just a short post today. We just got over to my parents place, and Crystal has asked if we could bring over the Switch. Of course!

So when we got there, I unplugged the Chromecast, and plugged in the Switch. Boom! She’s somewhere in Necluda, looking for caves.

Over the course of the last couple of weeks, I managed to beat the Wind Temple, and about a week back, I beat the Lightning Temple. According to all the guides I look at, they say to do the Lightning Temple last. I didn’t do that I beat it second. Lemme tell you, the boss was a challenge.

But I did it, and returned Gerudo town to its former glory. Then I worked on some quests in town. They’re always cute, and relatively quick and easy.

This afternoon, I became a Yiga blademaster. I’m a full fledged member now. The Yiga aren’t the smartest in the land of Hyrule.

Heartbreaker, soul shaker I’ve been told about you

And the lord said, let there be sound… and the talk radio turned on, and the people awoke. We’re awake here at the Flat. The sun is starting to shine. The cats are in their own spaces. Pippin is at the back door, watching her queendom, and Chaucer is on the pirate chest, 1000 yard staring. He’s like me, he needs a couple minutes to wake up. Shortly after he wakes up, he’ll find a nice spot to take a nap.

Yesterday was a blast. I think we hit almost every garage sale in town. Crystal won the TinyTown lottery, and got a few nice sheets, and I think two table cloths to make into cool pants. We also got a baking dish. Ooh! And a great little sewing basket for Crystal to put in all her bits and bobs into. She was also lucky enough to find a pair of Vibrams Five Fingers running shoes – IN HER SIZE!

I didn’t find anything that I just had to have. That’s ok, I wasn’t looking for myself. I was on the lookout for fabric for Crystal. I did find a soft cover New Moon. I had to walk to the car, and check my notes. I did it need the softcover, I need a hardcover. So I left it. I think if I’m going to get another set – it’ll be the white set.

We did find a cookbook that Crystal will probably send down to her mom. It’s a collection of recipes from homemakers clubs in Saskatchewan for the provinces golden jubilee. There’s some scary-ass recipes in there. I called out a couple, and Crystal came over and took a picture, and sent it to her mom. It’s from 1955, and was made to look like a group of women hand wrote it. I think Crystal said lithograph. But I could be wrong.

There’s always room for jello

Mimeograph. That’s what she said.

Well, it’s chore day here. I’ll be starting that in a little while. Just the normal stuff. It shouldn’t take too long to complete. Just a little time consuming. But it’s easy – put stuff in to the washer. Washer, washes, dryer dries. Good times, amirite?

Yeah, she probably gon’ be keeping some Victoria’s Secrets maybe a little Maybelline but she don’t need it

Good morning mother-bitches! It’s Saturday! Garage sale day! I had a relatively good sleep. It was more of a light doze starting around 6:30 I believe. The bed was perfectly warm, but not too warm.

Yesterday wasn’t too bad at work, but the time moved pretty slowly. Because the weekend. But that’s all over now, as we’re in the weekend. For most of the last 2 days, I prepped and got the items that BossLady want for the garage sale ready, and priced.

The items that she picked are pretty much perfect garage sale items. I hope she gets what she asks for them. I guess I’ll find out come Tuesday. We may or may not stop at the store. There’s 26 other locations in town to check out, plus the library, as they’re hauling out books for a book sale. We’ll check it out.

Last night Crystal and I went outside and she spun while I watched. She had her poi sticks. I like watching her when she uses the sticks – it seems like she does more tricks with them, than with the round poi. Either way, we both had fun outside.

Then the mosquitos came.

And started to bite.

We beat a hasty retreat back into the house.

From there we just watched Antiques Roadshow on Pluto, and then toddled off to bed for snuggles and sleeps.

And now here we are! Happy Saturday!
