When I was a young boy, my father took me into the city

Good motherfucking morning. Afternoon. I’ve been up since 5, to go into work this morning. Again the alarm went off without a problem. and I started my day by picking up books that Pippin knocked out of the book case from the arm out the couch. I found one of the two earbuds in the middle of the hall. Crystal found the second one. Then I fed the Pippin, and finally turned on the coffee before getting dressed.

I get to work and open normally and head outside to do the environment stuff we do every Saturday. Once that was finished, we opened for the day. The day started a little slow, but once the town woke up, it got nice and steady. Which made the time go by pretty quickly.

Yesterday wasn’t too bad. Into SlightlyBiggerTown for supplies and lunch to go. Once home and the groceries put away we noticed that we forgot light bulbs so I went down to the farm and auto store. I didn’t get the light bulbs right away I left, and got Crystal. I took her down and showed her the baby goats in a pen. The owners took them in because mama goat ignored them.

Ugh, good morning interwebs. I hope that everyone had a terrific sleep. I didn’t. The pressure in my head is pretty high right now. It felt like I was using my mask to keep my eyes in. So if it’s still like that after a little while, I’ll find and take some Advil.

Work wasn’t too bad yesterday. It was steady, but on the low end of steady. And then it completely died out, so we were able to get the closing stuff done in half the time, and we got out pretty quickly.

In a few hours we’ll be heading to SlightlyBiggerTown for some supplies. It looks like a nice day out there. Hopefully we’re starting a warm up time. Everyone is ready. Everyone that I talk to at work is tired of the cold.

This woman is my destiny

It’s bright and sunny out there today. It’s nice to see the sun. We haven’t seen it too often the last month or so. It looks like the ever present wind is gone for a little while as well.

Work wasn’t too bad yesterday. It was steady, but steady enough that two people could handle it just fine. when it slowed down enough, I did some of the monthly cleaning. And I remembered to take down the sales tags. Until I went to bed, and then realized that I think I missed a cooler.

I’ll find out if I missed the cooler (I did. I know I did!), when I get into work this afternoon. But if I did, it’s not the end of the world. And looking positively, the rest of the tags came down, and it’s just one cooler. So I’m not too worried if I did or didn’t.

Other than that, there’s not too much new in the last day or so. I have to remember to text my mom and say we’ll be over Sunday. And speaking of next week, close to the end of the week, we should be seeing some pretty night temperatures. I don’t want to get too excited, but nice weather is slowly arriving.

Pippin was a Pippin this morning. She jumped up on my shoulder and screamed into my face until I moved the blankets. She snuggled up next to me for about 3 seconds and ran off.

Good morning, hap hap happy Wednesday everyone. Half way through the week, and I’m heading back to work this afternoon. It looks like the wind has died down. But it’s pretty hazy looking pretty gray out there.

So yesterday, we drove to NextProvinceOver for a quick half day trip. Lucky for us all three second hand stores were open, but it was the first one that we went to that was the best. When we do to a second hand store I peel off and look at the books, you know, in case there’s Twilight books. Well I found one book, but I already had it, but my eyes spied something else.

I spied it, grabbed it, and walked to Crystal. I leaned in and said this will be mine, oh yes, this will be mine. And I carried it around as we looked. I put other items down, but kept a strong grip on this board game. When we got back to the Flat, I opened it. It looks like everything is in there, except for pencils.

Definitely, a good find, and a nice addition to the collection.

So I’m gonna refill my coffee cup, and get ready to start the day. Happy Wednesday!

Two-steppin’ on the table, she don’t need a dance floor

Good morning my friends! Today’s the day that we go thrifting! Woohoo. I don’t care that it’s snowing a bit out there. The snow will stop and we’ll head out. It’s not bad out there. We’re a hardy people north of the wall.

I believe we’re actually in third winter

I slept like the dead last night. I think I got up around 6ish. I know this because I had to find my mask before I went to bathroom. I did what I needed to do, and bird boxed it back to the bedroom and curled up next to Crystal and fell back asleep.

Yesterday wasn’t too bad. Laundry, and chores dominated the morning. Sloth and relaxing dominated the afternoon. After dinner we watched the third episode of Adolescence, and the 7th episode of Reacher.

So let’s get the day started!
