She wanna dip me like them fries in her Frosty

Good morning y’all! I slept like the dead. I don’t know if the kitties played or just went to sleep in the living room or something. My head hit the pillow, and I was out out, out.

Then the alarm went off.

We’re both up now, and I’m trying to shake the groggies out of my bean. I have my coffee next to me, and gosh darn it, it tastes pretty good so far.

Speaking of the kitties, Crystal asked last night if we should move the bell-ball that was sitting in the middle of the hallway. I said, surprise me. And then we totally forgot to move it. When we woke up, it hadn’t moved from the hallway, which makes me think they just found a comfy spot to sleep.

But, it’s Thursday. Inching closer to the end of the week. Also inching closer to Crystal spinning poi at the local haunted hotel walk through. It should be pretty cool. She did a dress rehearsal, to see if what she wanted to wear would be warm enough to perform after dark. Her costume passed the test, and she got about a half hour of spin time.

I need more coffee. Let’s go Thursday!

That’s great, it starts with an earthquake

Good morning my friends, Roman’s, and countrymen. I trust all y’all had a good sleep? Me? Not so much. Awoken by the sounds of a cat throwing up, I bolt out of bed to maybe find where it is. However, in the blackness, I couldn’t. I warned Crystal that there may be sick somewhere. Then I tried to go back to sleep.

Don’t you worry. I found the sick this morning in Chaucer’s food bowl this morning when I went to fill it. I think then, Chaucer came up on the bed to try to get some sleep. I then spent the next hour or so, trying to fall back asleep. This time, it was Pippin’s turn to be crazy. She was running around all over the place. At one point, she opened the laundry rooms door and wanted to play in there. Then she worked her way behind the bedroom door, and was having a great time playing behind it.

We’re all up now. The coffee has been brewed. Pippin is running around doing Pippin things. She just jumped up on my lap. Chaucer is laying between us. Morning is upon us.

Confeve.

It’s Wednesday, we’re slowly getting closer to the weekend. That’s very exciting! It’s overcast, but seems to be a little warmer than yesterday. Winter is coming, but I would like fall to stretch out, just a little bit.

Let’s go weekend!

I’m steppin’ tall, y’all and just like Humpty Dumpty

Again, it’s that time of the week when I go back to work. That’s right, it’s Tuesday morning. It’s a gray day. And if you look really hard, there’s little tiny snowflakes falling.

Chaucer is fighting to get into someones lap. He’s even more upset, since Pippin just jumped up in my lap, and he’s on the hump – the blanket that is covering Crystal’s lap.

I slept like the dead last night. Pretty much from the moment my head hit the pillow I was out. I woke up very briefly at around four. Just long enough to see what the time was, then out again until the alarm went off.

In a blanket update: everything seemed fine this morning. No blankets suspiciously dragged to my side of the bed.

I don’t know if the kittens slept on the bed. But when the alarm went off, Pippin was up there walking around.

Ok, I have coffee, and I suggest you get some too. It’s Tuesday, bitches!

Let the stormy clouds chase everyone from the place come on with the rain

Good morning all. The talks of waking up to a pile of snow is totes false. We’re currently seeing freezing rain. My weather app is a little wrong today. It’s currently saying 10.3cm of snow has fallen. False. Just freezing rain.

We slept in a little today. 7:35 was when my eyes opened. I’m sure that Crystal was up for much longer than that. It gives her time to scheme. Somehow all the blankets ended up on my side this morning. I don’t know how she does it. She also sleeps as far as she can away for me. Maybe I put out too much heat and she’s too warm. That explains how I have all the blankets. She sneaks out of bed, and pulls them all to my side. I’ll try and figure this out and report back as to how she’s doing this witchcraft.

Coffee has been brewed. I don’t know what the plan is for today. I think while I watch Critical Role this afternoon, Crystal will be exploring an underwater world on the Switch. The last time she was here I think we watched the first 4 or 5 episodes, I think todays episode is #38. And since they’re so long, it’s really hard to catch up for her.

Today is also bacon day. Well, more formally known as BRUNCH DAY. Yum!

Jack he sits back, collects his thoughts for a moment – scratches his head, and does his best James Dean

Awake! I think probably minutes, my brain went you should’ve shut off the alarm. Then it went off. Assuming that Crystal had a terrible sleep, I told her to stay in bed. Then I closed the door so she can hopefully sleep a little more.

We’re under a freezing rain advisory. It doesn’t seem that bad out there. Just it’s a gray day. It’s chore day, which I’ll start when Crystal is up and out of bed. I can do the more quiet chores.

Yesterday day after work, we popped over to another SlightlyBiggerTown, to hit up the second hand store, in hope of making Crystal a carnie costume. I think we found some stuff that’ll help with it. We also grabbed a pizza for dinner. Which, by the way was pretty good when we got home and baked it.

After dinner we watched Thor: Love and Thunder. I commented part way through it, that they made Thor a lot dumber from his first movie. Crystal replied that they made Natalie Portman’s character dumber too. She called it the Kelly Bundy syndrome.

It was a totally forgettable movie. The only stand out characters were the screaming goats. According to the trivia on the movie, it was the 29th movie in the MCU. They used to be superhero movies, but have just turned into buddy comedies.

It’s gotten cold out for the last week or two. That means the bugs are moving inside to stay warm. We’ve killed a few maple bugs between us, and Pippin stalks them.

It’s chore day, and this afternoon, we’ll head over to Shady Acres. Mom is very excited to be cooking Iggy’s clam chowdah for dinner. Woot!
