You’re the reason why I sing this song

Good morning. Just a quick update. I’m up early for an early shift at work. I slept like the dead until about 20 minutes before the alarm. Then about 10 minutes. That’s when I got up.

Podrick is being a loud boy this morning. He’s playing with a bottle cap. But it’s keeping him from climbing the screen in the kitchen or other things. He was playing with the shade in the table lamp on crystals side of the couch.

Yesterday was a very nice relaxing day. I did the laundry, and I built some of the LEGO Twilight Cullen house. We had really yummy chicken tenders for dinner.

I work today, and tomorrow. Then I believe I have the weekend off. Viva la weekend!

Let the Midnight Special shine a ever lovin’ light on me

Consciousness has reached The Flat. Podrick was a very good boy and slept with us until I lurched out of bed. I tripped over him, and then Pippin ran out of the bedroom, causing me to trip over her as she put the speed on just as she got under my legs.

They’re currently fighting over the table at the back door. So, a pretty normal morning for them. He’s cocky, because he has a fully belly of kitten chow.

Finally, a day off. I have a couple large loads of laundry to do. I don’t plan on doing too much other than chores today. We’ll be having brunch in a few hours. But it’ll be a relaxing day, as I’m back in the store tomorrow morning again.

But first coffee. Then I’ll start the chores. Happy Wednesday everyone!

Couldn’t see the ground somebody help me

The alarm didn’t have to go off. I knew it was time. It was three minutes before my alarm went off. I lurch out of bed, trying to figure out fading dreams. I was on the run. I met up with Crystal, and someone else later on. It was like an episode of FBI. I remember hiding out somewhere, and then sneaking through a mall or something. Then driving. I remember being pissed off that I didn’t bring my Vancouver Canucks jersey. I’ve never owned on before. I think as I woke up, we were trying to cross a border. I don’t know which. But it was a weird dream. It’s the first dream I’ve had in a long while. Even stranger, it’s the first dream I’ve remembered in years.

Back to work today. Mid shift. I’ll be the cashier today. I think it’s gonna be a longer day. But we’ll see.

They look all nice to each other. Crystal took this picture when I was at work. I’m sure Pippin was growling for most of this. He means well, but is too much in your face. Pippin doesn’t like that too much.

Coffee please.

Singin’ songs about the Southland

Good Monday morning. Podrick has been an asshole to Crystal for at least 3 hours already this morning. So much so, she actually got out of bed early this morning because Podrick would stop chasing his tail on top of me. He’s currently running around like an idiot, but he’s slowing down.

Work wasn’t too bad yesterday. Some slow times, but we were mostly busy for the whole day. It was steady, but steady enough to just keep the two of us busy, and not running around ripping our hair out. I was asked if we carried battery terminals and a few hours later we were asked if we carried diaper cream. That’s the fun of being the only business open on Sunday.

Back to work today. Thankfully there’s a day off on the horizon – Wednesday. That’s a good thing for sure. I’m starting to run out of socks and underwear. so I’ll be doing lots of laundry on Wednesday morning.

As you can see, the little fucking tornado can make it up on to the counters. There’s very few places that he can’t get to now. He seems to really like soda caps, so I found as many as I could at work, and brought them home for him.

Staring straight down a forty-four well, he turned and screamed at Linda Lou

Good morning. We’re all up in The Flat. And the coffee is flowing this morning.

In a few hours, I’ll be hesding into work. But for now I have a little while to wake up, drink some coffee, and in a few I’ll be hoping into the shower, cause ya gots to be fresh when stepping into work.

After work yesterday, we drove to SlightlyBiggerTown for some much needed supplies. First stop was the grocery store. It wasn’t busy in there, and we have a list, so we wander up and down each aisle. When Crystal went to the drug store after, I ran to the “general store” to find a cat toy. No joy, so we met back up, and hit the weed store, then Subway. After getting our sandwiches, we were ghost like Swayze, and one our way back to TinyTown.

Working today, and tomorrow. Then Tuesday Wednesday is mine to do all the chores in the world. It’s gonna be fun, I’ll sell tickets.

But first, coffee. Coffee; the giver of energy. Happy Sunday y’all!
