Though my mind could think, I still was a mad man

Holy shit, happy Friyay! I awoke quickly at around 5am, but I fell back asleep. The only thing I know for sure was that Pippin was snuggled up to me and wouldn’t move when I was rolling over. She was snuggled so tightly to my stomach. She’s a cutie.

So again, I wake up slightly groggy because the last two hours, it felt like I was in a deep sleep. I dreamed, but can’t remember any. All I can remember is just a jumble of images.

All that stands before me and the weekend, is just one shift at work. BossLady should be in Vegas, and will probably call sometime today, because she didn’t call yesterday. It’s all good.

There’s only one place left to count, and I’ll be taking care of it this afternoon. Then inventory is like 95% done. Not too shabby at all.

But before my eyes can focus, I need another cup of coffee. Happy Friyay everyone! We made it, treat yoself today!

From the midnight sun where the hot springs flow

Good morning, mother fuckers. I trust y’all had some sleep and all that happy horseshit!! I think I slept all the way through the night. I don’t think I was up too early, I did sleep lightly this morning, but I still slept. So not too shabby. I’m not used to waking up groggy, it’s a weird feeling.

I was just outside. It’s strangely somewhat warm out there. No wind, just silence. It’s always like that. Sound wise in the morning. I still find it odd to step outside and it’s very quiet out.

But we’re getting closer to the weekend! Tomorrow is date night. Yummy burgers, and literally 3 pounds of fries. But that’s something to look forward to, tomorrow. The coffee is flowing right now, and I’m just trying to keep my eyes focused!

So let’s make the most of Friday-eve, and hopefully the day will just fly by! Yay it’s almost Friyay! But not quite yet. Soon!

Hangman is comin’ down from the gallows, and I don’t have very long

Well it was an eventful evening. We were watching FBI, and snuggled together when the strangeness started. The power flickered 5 or 6 times, then it was out for good. We got shoes on and went outside. It was completely dark and silent. A few minutes later, we could hear people’s generators start to kick on.

So we hung out on the couch for another 45 minutes or so watching TikTok, then retired to the bedroom for the evening. Sometime in the night, the power came back on. The fan in the bedroom kicked on, and the tv turned back on. Around 6, I think I got up and shut the alarm off in the phone and turned off the TV.

Shortly after that, the alarm on my phone went off. Which is weird, because (and I checked) I had shut the alarm off.

But here we are. The coffee has been brewed, and the news is on. It’s Wednesday, and we didn’t freeze in the night. I had an ok sleep. Up early, but Crystal was up much earlier.

I just want this day to go quickly. One step closer to the weekend my friends.

Welcome to Tuesday! Here, have a cup of coffee. We went to bed a little early last night. That was totally fine by me. I wasn’t feeling too well yesterday. From about 1 or so yesterday afternoon, I could’ve napped. I didn’t. By I could’ve.

So we went to bed early. I was just starting to do the eye droop, and Crystal was already seeing if her eyelids had any holes in them. We decided that it was time for bed.

And then I was out. I’m sure after Crystal put on her sleep rig, she was out as well. I think I woke up just enough to see what the time was this morning. It was 6:45. So I closed my eyes again, and slept until the alarm went off. It was a good sleep.

But here we are. Tuesday morning. I’m ready for another work week. It’s my short week, meaning that I don’t have to work on Saturday. Nice.

My wife was competing in a game of chance

Another day, another Monday. One more day off, and it’s back to the grind. I should only be working with BossLady alone for Tuesday, then NewNewGirl will be with us for Wednesday, and then BossLady is globetrotting for a couple of weeks.

In the time that she’s gone, we only have 2 locations left to count for inventory – outside storage. So the sea can, and the warehouse. It should be relatively warmish out so we’ll count those probably next week.

Yesterday was a nice day ball the chores got done, and we played a beat-em-up game for an hour or so. It’s a lot like rampage. We had fun destroying buildings and eating humans. Then it was off to Shady Acres for dinner. It was a nice afternoon.

And Crystal will be playing a game if chance this afternoon – Godtear. That’ll be fun. It’s a quick game. Not too much for setup, unlike Gloomhaven, which I’d like to play again, but it takes so long to set up. Once setup, then you play for like 2 hours. Then you have to clean up. That’s a lot of work haha.
